The Greedy Gordons Pub company welcome you to the Red Lion. Managed by Ashley Headland, he brings a strong team of consistency and knowledge.

Situated in the heart of Cranford near Kettering a village steeped in history & the pub being the mainstay since the 1700’s.

Head Chef Ben Drury brings loads of experience by bring people together with our love of great food and drink delivered with passion.

Priding ourselves on being ECO-local we have reduced our carbon footprint by using local produce, recycling & upcycling as much as possible as well as providing waste for Bio Fuel. #EcoLocalRedLion.

All welcome and catered for including dogs!

We visit the Red Lion frequently and have never had any complaints. Sadly today our starter Frito Misto was a huge disappointment. £11.95 for 3 tiny pieces of calamari,1 prawn, 1 scallop and a very small piece of octopus, on the plus side the chilli jam was nice! Apart from the starter, the mains, desserts and service were outstanding. We will still be visiting again very soon.

Great place to eat, good choice of food and very good service. A frequent choice when we have business dinners because of the standards.

We often get visitors from the US at work and when we can we visit the Red Lion. Good food, good selection of drinks and great service.

As a vegetarian, I felt that there wasn’t a great choice - veg pie (in the summer!), beetroot burger or nut loaf. I went for the nut loaf which was nice, but felt the choice wasn’t great. But overall, the setting, the service and other menu choices were good

Excellent food quality piping hot, service a little slow especially drinks, chairs slightly uncomfortable for the longer diners. On my recommended list though.

As frequent visitors to the Red Lion they never let us down. The food is always delicious and portion sizes are always generous. The staff attentive without being intrusive. Cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough. Well done to all.
