Inside, our pub has everything you could wish for in a traditional village local, including freshly prepared food, a fine selection of cask ales, open wood burning fires, traditional flagstone flooring and wooden beams, and extensive wine list. We also have a private function room that can cater for anywhere between 10 and 40 guests. Our outdoor seating areas are peaceful and relaxing, and you have a choice of seating, either overlooking the village green, where you can watch the world go by, or in our own colourful pub garden and patio area.

The Red Lion is always a pub that you can rely on for a great experience. Friendly, comfortable and with a terrific menu. Go there often!

My aunt said it was the best fish and chips she’d had in her life! We all had a lovely time with very friendly staff

The steak was tough and my wife tripped up the step going into the garden and fell over. Damage done ? £60.

I always enjoy wining and Dining at the Red Lion. Nice atmosphere, very good menu and wine, beer and cocktails a good selection. Friendly , helpful staff, I can highly recommend.

Chris was our server and we arrived for Sunday roast and he was very accommodating and friendly The meal was excellent as I ordered the chicken and my family ordered the beef roast Everything was cooked perfectly and I loved the lemon tart

Always enjoy the atmosphere and setting of the Red Lion . The menu is varied and good value and the wine list also has good choices . The staff are always attentive and helpful, all in all my favourite place to eat .

I had a Chicken Ceaser salad which was drenched in dressing, the croutons were stale and it was not great.

It was a very warm day so decided to eat inside where it was cooler and also very quiet as most other diners chose to sit outside. Very friendly and efficient service so certainly will visit again.
