   Lovely friendly atmosphere, very welcoming for our 4 legged fur baby. Excellent service and lovely food, I deducted 1 star because the chicken added to my salad was still on the bone and wasn’t very well seasoned. I think Cajun or jerk chicken option would elevate the dish. This is our 3 visit and it doesn’t disappoint will definitely be back again.

   pub in Grantchester, food was alright, nice staff. we sat in the garden on the sun.

   It has been many years since we have visited the Red Lion and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient

   Really disappointed, the staff seemed to be in there own world, we had to ask for the table to be cleared and for menus, the food was ok, from a table of 6, 3 meals were good, 3 were really poor. Unfortunately we won’t be going back here, which is a shame as the pub itself is really pretty and in a good location.

   The atmosphere is nice here, but the Sunday roast was very underwhelming. Our food came out before our drinks had arrived, and the meals weren't particularly hot. They were also drastically under seasoned. The meat was overcooked, dry and lacking in flavour. Veg was fine, although the potatoes were very school dinner. The cauliflower cheese was just greasy rather than tasting of cheese. It wasn't bad enough to complain about, all edible, although we weren't checked back on until we had nearly finished eating anyway. Obviously it was nice that it came out so quickly, but yeah definitely not really worth the price we paid. We also struggled to get the attention of our waitress several times - this is not necessarily her fault, perhaps just that the staggering of the table seating was not well done. The staff were welcoming and friendly at the door. Other than that I probably wouldn't bother coming back unless the menu or kitchen changes significantly.

   Disappointed with our visit today . We were taken to our table the waiter mumbled the specials, with his back to us .. food was ok but found the menu quite limited . The girl that brought drinks just dumped them on the table.Coffee was cold and had to be returned. Then nobody came back to our table for over an hour No extra drink’s offered we actually had to get up and ask someone to come to us. Paying the bill was a faff too

    Super on all counts. Friendly and attentive service. Truly dog friendly, with everyone and their dogs well behaved and respectful of each others’ space. Lovely food, the offering of extra bread with our soup was very much appreciated. Faultless, and a place to definitely return to.
