Chaotic. Need more staff. 30 minutes for a drink . Food was disappointing.

When we came the entire restaurant was empty and I waited for a glass of wine for 20 min. They took our order and we waited for each course a very long time. Finally I said something and they said they short staffed. We left with taking our dessert home. They gave me a $50 credit. Saying that the food was excellent.

The service and the food were very good. The problem with this restaurant is it's way too loud. It is so loud that it's impossible to hear the person next to you talking. We had this problem 2 times before. This was the third time we've had dinner at Red Horse. The waiter and hostess very nicely moved us to a smaller room where it was less noisy. But because of this we won't be going back. They really need to do something about the sound in that restaurant.

We we were welcomed a soon as we entered…Gina took my wrap and guided us to a very quiet table for two… our server Brian was terrific, giving us the time we needed to make our selections and seeing to it that we were served at a pace that allowed us to enjoy a leisurely dinner… we were surprised by complimentary flutes of champagne as we had mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. As for the food … wonderful, beautifully plated and as delectable to the eye as to the palate. Was it pricey…yes…but the value for the dollar was there… we can’t wait to go back!

The food was not amazing. the red snapper was very fishy, even though they did not charge me for it, buy the time I got my meal, had to eat by myself. It was not a good experience.

We dine at most David Burke restaurants in NJ. My wife loves The Goat the best. They have a fabulous flaming chicken. I prefer steak, so Rumson is top on my list. Our son took us for Father’s Day. Going to Son Cubano in West NY over the weekend. Great food and music with an amazing view! You can’t ask for anymore than that!

A busy night for Fathers Day was probably why we had a delay in our service but the manager made up for it & the food was wonderful
