Red Hill Estate : a destination not to be missed on the Mornington Peninsula - turning your small moments into unforgettable ones.

Drawing inspiration from the Fabrizio family's wine odyssey, which began in Torino de Sangro—a town nestled between the mountains and the sea in Italy's Abruzzo region— the maritime-influenced slopes of the Mornington Peninsula hinterland are home to the iconic Red Hill Estate; a new venue sparks the beginning of a new chapter, offering food and wine experiences in a relaxed dining area with views of the kitchen garden and olive trees.

Restaurant bookings are available at 11:45am, 12:00pm, 12:15pm or 2:00pm, 2:15pm, 2:30pm for a duration of two hours.
Wine Experience bookings are available at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm for a duration of 45 minutes.

Walk-ins are welcome but bookings are recommended. For groups larger than 20 guests or function enquiries please email info@redhillestate.com.au.

Far too noisy and far too hot. Our waiter Josh I think his name was was very good. Food was very average, ragu was not a ragu, tomatoes weren’t great and the pizza actually had too many toppings making it impossible to eat but I suppose it has to when you charge $40 for a pizza. Charging $2 for parmasen cheese is horrendous and is going to annoy so many of your customers.

I love Red Hill Eatate. Have been a regular for 20+ years and I love the new look. The food is outstanding, and the wine is perfect. Normally the service is outstanding, unfortunately on this occasion we were forgotten but as soon as this was realised the service was the usual 5 star. Today was a hot, inside was hot, the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient and the restaurant was extremely noisy, both the heat and the noise made the experience less than what I was expecting. As a new restaurant I’m sure these have been commented on and knowing Red Hill Estate they will rectify these.

Our wine guide was excellent, very informative and he made us very comfortable. Sally was also helpful and friendly, enjoyed muchly!

I think that the concept is good. We will definitely go back again when it’s not such a hot day. The air-conditioners did not provide any comfort and the glass windows allowed Heati to come straight in. Think they underestimated this with their build. I also think that they were caught by surprise with how busy they were going to be taking this in consideration. We will definitely be back to try it again as the food was lovely and the concept .

Food was delicious. Wine pretty good also. Good value for a winery. Small problem with a wrong order but otherwise very good. Will be back.

They are so understaffed. There were so many people and not enough staff for all the people they had. The place is also super noisy which is annoying when you are trying to have a conversation or you have been waiting for your meal more than an hour. Our food arrived one plate at a time, which meant I ate my main meal by myself and everyone was starving looking at me eating. Same thing happened with my husband and his spaghetti, which arrived once I had finished my main meal and by the time our kids pizzas arrived they were swimming in olive oil, even though we requested not to have olive oil on top of them. The waiter pretended to take a note of it, but when the pizzas arrived they were swimming in olive oil. A staff member came to tell us that the olive oil was in the pizza salsa which clearly wasn’t - the olive oil was on top and it was excessive. The waiter didn’t bother writing ‘no olive oil’ and our kids had to wait more than an hour for their meal, and it arrived ignoring the request we gave them of no olive oil.

The food, wine was poor value for money in a place with little atmosphere. Service difficult even though it was busy which we understood. We ordered a pre-lunch drink which never arrived and were in and out in 45 mins.
