Red Ginger Dim Sum and Tapas, located in Asheville, North Carolina, is a contemporary restaurant that features modern dim sum and Chinese small plates made with locally sourced ingredients, plus wine and cocktail options. The traditional, healthy and elegant Chinese-style tapas and dim sum are meant to provide a vibrant mountain community with an authentic and yet dynamic and interactive dining experience through the open kitchen. All of the wine options at Red Ginger Dim Sum and Tapas are also cultivated from its own local vineyard.The menu at Red Ginger, offering both vegetarian and gluten-free options include items such as dim sum samplers, lunch bento boxes, pork dumpling Shanghai style, Szechuan wonton, sticky rice with chicken, ginger&scallion lobster, local sunburst trout and dan-dan noodle. Takeout and catering options are also available. Private event room seats up to 40 people.

Without a doubt, the best dim sum dining is in Asheville. Better than Knoxville, Charlotte or Greenville SC. Definitely worth the drive if this is your hard-to-find cuisine. Highly recommended?

Loved the modern vibe with the traditional notes of art around. This is a real dim sum place, and the food was simply amazing. Must-have if you're in the area!

Excellent food and service. I will make it a priority for my next visit. Lobster roll and shrimp dumplings were fantastic. All compliments, no issues or complaints. Thank you!

We had a wonderful dinner and our server was very helpful in suggesting some of the favorite and special items. We especially loved the Seabass and the dumplings

Once we got our waiter’s attention, he was responsive and attentive — but he was stretched too thin with too many tables getting started at the same time, and with each meal paced similarly. Food great as always. Too noisy, and the owners could do something to remedy this if they tried.
