Red Fox Steakhouse in Middletown had no power so we went to Red Fox Italian in Middlefield. It was good noisy but good food.

We walked through the restaurant to the covered patio area. The inside area was a little noisy but the ambiance was great. The patio was perfect. We were right next to a fountain so we heard the soft sounds of the water. The staff were very attentive. The service was so fast. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! If you want one of their steak sauces I recommend the peppercorn cognac. My husband loved his ahi tuna. The cheesecake was so good! I want to come back to the Travelers next year just to eat dinner here!

Wish I could have given a 5-star rating as I have always had 5-star experiences here. Food was outstanding - had the Zuppa Mussels, Caesar Salad and Chicken and Shrimp for an entree. Took 40 minutes for the zuppa and salad and they came out together. Kitchen was just too slow and the place wasn’t very busy. Service was sporadic as the individual tending bar, who was quite busy, was also tending to the tables in the bar seating area. That combination doesn’t work well when the bar is crowded. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We sat at the outside bar. It was a beautiful day. There is plenty of outdoor seating! Our bartender was so attentive and very nice( sorry I forgot her name) We had the porterhouse on the bone for 2. It was amazing . Cooked perfectly and came with 3 sides. It was plenty for 2 people and brought the leftovers home . This was our first time here and won’t be the last! Until next time

Had a fabulous dinner! Service was impeccable. Very nice atmosphere. Should’ve asked the price of the specials as they were a bit more than expected, but the food was delicious. Will definitely go back.

Food portions were large and very tasty. My only complaint was that the coffee was weak, even after receiving a replacement cup. If they are using pods they need to use the setting with less water so the coffee has some taste to it.
