Red Fox does a pretty good job, but it is way over priced. It is not a premier dining spot. The food is good but not extraordinary. The setting is quite pleasant with patio dining which is nice.

Don't misunderstand me, the quality of the food was good. The service by the waiter(s) was good. The waiters did nothing wrong at all. However, overall, this restaurant suffers from poor management from the top. The restaurant was undergoing some major construction work, and everything looked very messy. The biggest error by upper management was not fixing the broken and dysfunctional air conditioner installed through the wall, which was clearly broken, in that it has a plastic tube running from it, spraying water from the air conditioner into a large "Home Depot Orange Bucket" that the waiters had to continuously pick up and empty, and this bucket of filthy water was disgusting. The upper management of this restaurant seriously need to "Grow A Brain", and develop some basic common sense in basic restaurant management skills. The second biggest mistake was that they do not give bread before dinner time, meaning that we paid a lot of money to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we were not even served bread or something small before we were served our appetizer. Overall, the food serving portions were very, very small, and not very filling. For the incredibly large price paid, we feel the small amount of food was not worth the total dollar amount paid. Upper management needs to increase the portion sizes of the food, in order to deliver more value to the customer. Finally, the outside of the restaurant is an "Eyesore Mess". The plants outside were not trimmed properly, and the plants are just "Hanging About" and rubbing against me as I was entering and leaving the restaurant stairs. Do you think you could take two (2) minutes to trim the plants in the front of your restaurant so that they don't get in the way of the customers? Finally, I want to emphasize that the waiters were excellent and delivered excellent service. If price is not important to you, then this restaurant would be good for you. Thank you very much.

Red Fox is awesome. The food is delicious and perfectly prepared, always!! In my opinion they have some of the best steak in CT. The staff is absolutely amazing, delightful and knowledgeable. This is a true hidden gem and a must try!

This was my first time at Red Fox Restaurant, it had been highly recommended by my coworkers and I wish I had gone sooner. We had excellent waitstaff and the food was amazing. We didn't feel rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy our drinks, appetizers and meal. I look forward to going back soon and possibly trying out their happy hour.

The service was slow. The food was mediocre and we were generally unsatisfied. Plus, the dining room was very, very loud.
