Restaurant is a little hard to find as it is located inside of a complex. Ambience is as the only thing nice about this restaurant. Waitress didn’t know the menu and seemed confused as we placed our order. Timing on food was good but that is likely because there were no more than three other tables with people at the restaurant which is not a good sign at 7pm on a Sunday. My husband ordered a filet mignon cooked medium and got it well done. It was supposed to come with roasted potatoes which was already weird but ended up coming with overcooked potatoes that looked and tasted like homefries. My mom and i ordered the shrimp parmesan which was delicious but the linguini pasta was not fettucini and instead was pappardelle and very thick which we didn’t eat. Dad had chicken picatta dish that he enjoyed. It was my parents anniversary and i did mention it in my reservation so i was disappointed that nothing was even mentioned about it. I love Red Fox in Middletown but won’t be coming back to this one.

Harry is the man! He made great recommendations for wine and dinner. The place is beautiful and the food is amazing

There was a language barrior with some of the waitstaff,but the service was accommodating .The appetizers were very good,as was the dessert The main course meals were very disappointing .Tasted like food you would get at a diner,very plain.

Everything was flavorful and delicious! We were all very pleased with our entrees. We ordered the lasagna, the eggplant rollantini and the 40-ounce dry aged porterhouse for 2 with 3 sides. Three of us tasted the porterhouse and agreed that it was prepared perfectly, slightly more rare than medium rare, moist and superbly seasoned. I ordered the eggplant rollantini and was somewhat trepidatious because, after all, this is a steakhouse, but I couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was! The serving was generous and it came with a side of al dente fettuccine, with amazing tomato sauce/gravy. Everyone was pleased with their drinks; however, I will note that my cosmopolitan was too strong for me, so I ended up ordering a glass of the house Pinot Noir to go with my eggplant rollantini, which complemented it perfectly. Since not many diners would complain about a drink being too strong (yes, I’m a lightweight), no one should think twice about dining at Red Fox to enjoy their excellent food!!

First time there and we will go back. Everything was terrific. Food was stupendous and the portion size very good. Service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant enjoyable. The only issue is that it a little difficult to find as you have to enter what is an office building. They could use a sign out front……..other than that minor issue a terrific restaurant

We had lunch in the back area, like a wine room. Lovely and quiet. The restaurant also has a long bar and a great outdoor patio for evenings or cooler days. The dessert menu has Affogato - my favorite, plus Eggplant Rollatini, which was delicious. Overall nice menu with choices for all tastes.

My boyfriend and I went for the first time and loved it! Our waitress (Yari) and busser were great! Our waters were constantly filled, the table was consistently cleared, and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. We had three drinks, two appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts and the bill was less than $160! Great atmosphere too :) I think we found our new spot!

The restaurant was clean and looked nice. There was not adequate air conditioning which made it a little uncomfortable with the humidity. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. The cherry pepper spread that they provide with the bread is delicious but beyond that, everything was just "okay". The mozzarella in the caprese salad was hard and stiff. The steak was cooked correctly but was not anything special. The mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes like we cook at home. The "Cast Iron Brownie" dessert was like a fast food type brownie square heated up in a cast iron skillet with some ice cream and Hershey's syrup on top. Not what you'd expect for a restaurant dessert. The staff was amazing and attentive. Given the entire experience as a whole, I don't think we'd go back.
