   Our evening began with the Caprese Salad, a beautifully arranged dish of ripe, juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy mozzarella. The balsamic reduction added the perfect touch of sweetness, making every bite a harmonious blend of flavors. For the main courses, we indulged in a variety of delectable dishes. The Shrimp & Sole Francese was an absolute standout. The fish was cooked to perfection, tender and flaky, and the light lemon butter sauce complemented it brilliantly, adding a refreshing zest without overpowering the delicate flavors of the seafood. The Linguine with Bolognese Sauce transported us straight to Italy. The pasta was cooked al dente, just as it should be, and the Bolognese sauce was rich and hearty, with a depth of flavor that only comes from a long, slow simmer. But it didn't stop there. The Shrimp & Chicken Milano was another sensation. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, with succulent shrimp and perfectly cooked chicken, all bathed in a delicious creamy sauce with just the right amount of seasoning. We couldn't leave without trying the desserts, and they did not disappoint. The Crème Brûlée had a beautifully caramelized top that gave way to the smoothest, most velvety custard underneath. It was pure perfection. And then there was the Warm Brownie Skillet, an indulgent treat with a rich, gooey chocolate center, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that melted gently over the warm brownie, creating a sheer heavenly delight. Every dish was not only delicious but also presented with such elegance and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure our experience was nothing short of perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend Red Fox osteria to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of exquisite food, superb service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a place I will undoubtedly return to time and time again.

   Staff was excellent! Really enjoyed the dinner. There was a kitchen error made with my dinner, but it was corrected in record time and the chef apologized by making my entree' extra special. ;)

   We really enjoyed the food. Very Tasty! Our server was amazing, the only downfall was drinks from the bar took quite some time. We will definitely be back!

   The night was a bit off. Food was overly salted. Have been taking people here. Hope it is temporary.

   We requested to be moved from the table we were initially taken to..it was too cramped,crowded and noisy. The table we ended up dining at was near the window and somewhere drafty and cold. If we ever eat here again we will reserve a booth. The wait staff was very professional but the wait time for our food was slightly longer than we anticipated. The garlic knots were delicious. The two entrees we ordered were a mixed bag,the chicken parmigiana was very good. The chicken Marsala was very bland with no marsala taste at all.more like a brown gravy than a marsala sauce. Very disappointing because the presentation was excellent. No salad served only bread and entree.portion size was not skimpy but not generous either. Prices were not bad. all in all ,not too impressed but not totally put off. Prices were about what we expected.

    A must try with great food and service. South Meriden is very fortunate to have a restaurant like this.
