Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.

Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

What a find!! The place is small but very busy and the portions are HUGE!! The staff couldn’t do enough, they were all polite and friendly and very attentive to everyone. Thank you for a lo lunch.

Please note that the menu prices are not accurate. Platters show as 35.50, gouie louie was 19 and we had 3 cokes. It came to £106.49. It wasn't until I looked on the website that it twigged that the menu prices are not the actual prices. It comes up. This is a sample menu. Prices and dishes may vary.The menu was in the restaurant, so ask for prices if you're on a budget. The restaurant was very clean and the waitresses were amazing. Dodgy door that you had to shove to get closed, but that's very minor. The food! Now the food is where the 5 star review is! Melt in your mouth drop off of the bone. The single gouie louie was enough, but they do it 3 tier! Chips are sold separately, but the food we had was divine!

Fantastic meal here last night , loved the ambience of the restaurant and the food definitely dint disappoint.. we will go going back for another visit and seconds !

Service was ok at the start but as the restaurant got busier was terrible. The food was gross and mostly inedible. The chicken burger was over cooked and rubbery, the pork ribs were mostly just fat and the burger patties fell apart and crumbled. Would not return

I've been here several times before and the burgers are always excellent, but this time no chocolate milkshake and although the burger was very good, it wasn't as good as usual. Not exactly disapointing, it's still one of the best burgers in London, but no longer THE best.

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint- the chicken and ribs combo was delicious but the beef brisket stole the show. The Red Dog is definitely the place to visit for quality, quantity and excellent service
