Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.

Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

The staff were amazing, but the food wasn’t great. The portions were unnecessarily huge, and not good quality. The flavour of everything was incredibly overwhelmingly smokey. I wouldn’t recommend, you can get much better quality barbecue for MUCH cheaper elsewhere.

I believe we were over charged for our meal We ordered: 1 USS Kentucky (£69) 2 pints of red dog lager (£13.50) 1 portion of chips (£5.50) and our bill was £106.31

The BEST BBQ food we have had in many years! A small venue that has loads of atmosphere, amazing food and attentive staff. I shared a USS Oregon platter and it was immense. every part of the dish was cooked well, presented well and was mouth watering. It came with 2 large glasses of the sweet iced tea which was a nice surprise. We will definitely visit again when we are next in London.

Good location in soho. Burgers don’t come with fries (separate order) - so makes it a little expensive for what it is. Good selection of cocktails that were tasty. Staff often go gain attention although not busy.

2nd time in a row I have been to London and have eaten in Red Dog Soho. Food and Service excellent. Would love to come back again

We came here specifically as my husband has enthused about this being the best burger he’s ever had for the last 6 years! He was right!
