Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky taste to the meat. The process could take many hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy.

Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We smoke for up to 16 hours using the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour.

Great food, a good drinks selection, service was brilliant. No thrills, good bbq. Platter was a good size, we couldn’t finish it! Great location too.

The staff were amazing, but the food wasn’t great. The portions were unnecessarily huge, and not good quality. The flavour of everything was incredibly overwhelmingly smokey. I wouldn’t recommend, you can get much better quality barbecue for MUCH cheaper elsewhere.

I believe we were over charged for our meal We ordered: 1 USS Kentucky (£69) 2 pints of red dog lager (£13.50) 1 portion of chips (£5.50) and our bill was £106.31

I was reluctant to give only 4 Stars for the service, as I have a disability and the staff very kindly allowed me to sit at a larger table despite being on my own. However, the service was slow and I did notice other customers getting annoyed (and they were not packed out or anything). Perhaps it was only for that day. The food itself was delicious. I had the Punisher MK2 and it was honestly one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. The banana and peanut butter milkshake was also great.

The BEST BBQ food we have had in many years! A small venue that has loads of atmosphere, amazing food and attentive staff. I shared a USS Oregon platter and it was immense. every part of the dish was cooked well, presented well and was mouth watering. It came with 2 large glasses of the sweet iced tea which was a nice surprise. We will definitely visit again when we are next in London.
