Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.

Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

Had the sharing platter for two and it was amazing. More than enough (with mac and cheese on the side) for two greedy men.

firstly I was given a broken plate which I almost cut my thumb on, they then replaced my plate with another broken one (you would think they would check the replacement) once the food came they forgot an entire meal for one of our party which they did not charge us for but still, we had almost finished once his meal came. we had a platter at £69, the brisket was dry, the pulled pork had hardly any flavour, we had a brisket burger which was also dry so very disappointing and the other burger was the only good thing we had. we would not recommend

The food was definitely not worth the money! £20 for 4 slices of brisket and you didn't even get chips or anything with it! We also ordered 3 different burgers for around £12 just the burger its self ridiculous!! All 3 were very under done one of them was almost completely raw! 🤢 I understand restaurants leaving burgers a little pink but not completely raw couldn't have been on the grill for more than 2 minutes tops. The best thing we ordered was the kids meal chicken tenders and chips hard to mess up however this did come out scalding hot far to hot for a kid to touch let alone eat you would think they would let it cool a little before giving it to a kid instead you couldn't even touch the plate! The place was very dark and we had to get pjone torch out to read the menu. It was also so loud in there you couldn't here yourself think let alone hear anyone else you were with. All in all the whole meal cost £85 and we felt robbed definitely won't be going back there in a hurry!

Food was ok, service was poor, glasses were left empty as staff consistently walked past and Failed to ask if we wanted any more. You missed out here. Will think twice about returning. Hickory's for me in future.

Went for dinner around 5pm, the restaurant was very quiet but really lovely atmosphere and great ambience (and a fun country soundtrack playing!). Staff were really lovely and friendly, quick service. Had an absolutely delicious margarita and then we both had the Cronus burger. This was also absolutely delicious and you get so much food with it. Everything on it was good quality and so flavourful, we will always recommend this place. Thanks for having us!

Overall it was a good night food was lovely.Drinks were expensive .The only thing I didn't like was the challenge going on with the peppers on the next table not good eating with people being sick on the next table
