Named after The Wigwam’s venerated head golf pro for 42 years, Red Allen’s Bar & Grill offers a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner destination overlooking the elegant, arched palms and rolling greens of the historic Gold and Blue golf courses.

No worries if you can’t tell the difference between a pitching wedge and a wedge of iceberg – everyone can appreciate the relaxed vibe and updated comfort food of Red Allen’s Bar & Grill. On a Friday 7.45P rez, the staff were very accommodating; attentive; knowledgeable, and respectful. Brian helped us determine which entrees would be best for the experience our group was seeking, and our full stomachs at-home are a testament to his ability to understand the customers - as well as his knowledge of the venue’s menus. We chose an outdoor experience, the staff were accommodating to our requests - from iceless cold water, to modifying the ambiance of our table with rearrangement of the water atomizers + gas heating system at our table. All the while, the staff remained respectful and only approached at the appropriate times so as not to disrupt our conversations. We will be coming back for special occasions, as well as the casual Friday night dinner. What a pleasant experience!

We booked here because Litchfield’s was closed. We asked for a quiet table because we had some business to discuss and they accommodated the best they could but the place is a golf pub, and there are large tables of golfers recapping their game that day. So it was loudish still. But the service was great, our server friendly and attentive. I had the black bean burger which they served Jesse style and it was flavorful, albeit not the best veggie patty texture-wise. I would recommend they get an impossible burger on their menu. There is not a lot for vegetarians on the menu. But the prices are reasonable and the portions are good. The view of the golf course is nice.

This is our Fourth or Fifth time and we like it but still feel it is overpriced for the quality of the food and service. We enjoyed it but we go there more for the ambiance and view. We prefer it when we can sit out on the patio as it is a bit loud inside. The chicken sandwich was a bit dry. We prefer different GF buns, they use Udi's which is not our favorite. The Brisket Reuben was good. The Sweet potato fries were good. Our girls got the Fettuccine Alfredo one with and one without Chicken and they did not discount the one without Chicken, which we feel they should have.
