Named after The Wigwam’s venerated head golf pro for 42 years, Red Allen’s Bar & Grill offers a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner destination overlooking the elegant, arched palms and rolling greens of the historic Gold and Blue golf courses.

No worries if you can’t tell the difference between a pitching wedge and a wedge of iceberg – everyone can appreciate the relaxed vibe and updated comfort food of Red Allen’s Bar & Grill. The drinks were excellent. The service was slightly slow but they were pretty busy, so I'm ok with it. The appetizers were excellent, sides were very good. However, the ribeye was a shoe sole. It had great flavor but it was so tough that it wasn't edible. I left half of it on the plate. So, go here but order pork or fish.

Valentine’s Romance menu and food quality were poor. Server did her best but timing and quality of three courses was off. Been to Reds many times for casual fare. I suppose it’s hard to dress up a burger and beer golf restaurant.

Fajitas were greasy and lacked flavor. Just a noisy sports bar, since it reopened years ago.

The hostess is a gruff and put out older lady who has no customer service skills and is super slow and has the demeanor of Flo fromMels diner. She reminds me of an old truck stop waitress from a movie. I had reservations and the place was absolutely empty with only 2 tables taken out of 12 plus. She stared at her computer screen confused where to put us like it was a trigonometry final. Not the person you want greeting and seating customers. The ladies room had 3 stalls and only one available! One was closed with an out of order sign and the other had no door knob. Our waiter brought us water and disappeared for over 15 minutes so we had to hunt down another server! The food was awful!!! This place is part of a high end golf resort but it is about the level of a Dennys. Yikes!

Lovely to sit outside. The food was very good, service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry. Love being able to bring our dog on the patio.

We waited 30 minutes before anyone even came to our table. We should have left then. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Our food came 45 minutes later!! It was horrible once it got there. It wasn’t warm. My chicken was grey inside. Supposed to be stuffed with apples and ham or something. It was unrecognizable. I am not a complainer at restaurants and will eat it even if it’s mediocre. This was inedible. They at least were nice enough to take that off the bill. Horrible slow service. And not great food. Will not go back. And not a good spot for kids. We didn’t have ours thank goodness.

Waited 20 minutes just to be acknowledged when we sat down and it wasn’t u til we asked if there was going to be a server. Then Waited 2 hours for dinner. Everytime we asked about the status of the food we were told “10 more minutes”.very disappointing because no one was truthful from the beginning. Unfortunately we won’t be dining there until service gets better.

Trevor was such a great server. Ted’s is one of the best places to go in the West Valley.
