Went there on a Saturday night had reservation for 10:45 for a Bday dinner. When we got there the place was packed nobody greeted us. We basically had to find our own seats, once seated we waited about 40 mins for someone to come to our table and nobody came. We got up and went to order drinks at the bar. The bartender refused to serve cause he claimed he had a lot orders but once was offered a big TIP then accepted to take the order. We went back to our table and stopped one of the workers and asked if we can place order we was told no because the kitchen had a lot of orders and wasn’t taking any more orders for the rest of the night. Bday dinner was ruined the bday person didn’t even want to go anywhere else so we just want home felt bad cause I booked this place. What a waste of time we drove all the way from The Bronx for this. NEVER AGAIN

Love the food here, however, a bit too pricey. $166 for a party of 2, no tips included. 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 entrees. It is understandable to relate everything to inflation but if the price is not gonna be on the moderate side, at least the AC must be either fixed or replaced ASAP. Windows are kept open and ceiling fans running but it gets way to hot once is over 85 degrees out. As a consumer I was uncomfortable, I can only imagine the workers, and they offered a great customer service.

My friend and I ordered the griot (fried pork) and fried red snapper, with duri djon djon and red rice and beans respectively. We had fried green plantains as a starter. Everything was well made, and quite flavorful. I was really surprised by how good the fish was, the food was well seasoned. Everything was made fresh, so there was a bit of a wait between the appetizer and the entree, but this was fine by me. I will be back!
