During October half term school holidays, evening dining will be increased to 4 nights, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

With its bare wooden floors, original stained glass windows and quirky lighting, our small rustic restaurant is a welcoming space to enjoy your ‘Really Wild' food and drink. A visit to our restaurant offers a unique dining experience with the opportunity to chat and interact with our chefs and front of house team and share their passion and knowledge of the wild ingredients used in the innovative dishes they prepare and serve.

N.B. No dogs permitted in the evenings.

We met with friends for a Sunday lunch, the food was incredible and delicious, the fact that Really Wild cater for so many dietary requirements is refreshing and makes this a new favourite and we will definitely be returning! Add to this the welcome from staff and you have the perfect recipe for success! Thank you ☺️

Good to have the tasting menu back. Very pleasant service as previously. The nettle soup was outstanding, followed by an excellent take on laverbread and cockles with honey roast bacon and pickled samphire, which even converted my wife. The beautifully cooked lemon sole was slightly lost in a powerful but lovely heritage tomato sauce with sea spaghetti. The meat course of pulled confit style duct leg on sweet potato mash, with perl las; each part tasted lovely but the whole could have done with more thought. The deserts of berry jelly followed by an exquisite crumble completed the diner well. Accompanied by a short, very well priced wine list. This was a lovely evening, but not quite up to the standard of last year. We will be back next year.

We really enjoyed the taster menu. It gave us a variety of foods we hadn’t tried before. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgable about the different foods. I had arranged in advance to substitute courses from the vegan menu as I don’t eat fish and this worked really well.

We enjoyed our taster menu very much. The food was beautifully presented and we agreed our favourites were the soup and crumble. A very inventive menu and the service was friendly and accommodating. A lovely experience. Thank you.

Great sharing plates, really tasty and imaginative. Four plates gave us a very good lunch and room for the delicious, light cheesecake. Staff were friendly and helpful, dog welcome at lunch. All in all excellent.

We like the "excellent". Our small plates menu was special for the summer but next time you may be tempted by our exceptional Tasting menu in the evenings - a completely different experience.

Very nice setting with modern, arty feel. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Small plates were tasty overall and we enjoyed the range of flavours in each dish. Desserts were delicious. Would be great to see some meat options on the menu as there were only fish, vegetarian or vegan options. We prefer a no dogs restaurant so that was a bonus, although one dog was allowed in during the evening. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Hazel, thank you for the lovely review. the small dog was an assistance dog and legally we cannot refuse - it is very rare indeed that the evening restaurant has any animals or small children Hope it didn't spoil your experience.
