We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).

We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews.

I really wanted to like this restaurant - the menu was excellent and the German beer selections looked good. Unfortunately, service was slow - though she was very kind, and it took over an hour for our food to come. We had to ask after 45 minutes and about our food before it came out. When the food came it was passably German - though my Currywust was actually a Bratwurst and the Schnitzels were dry. I'd try it again with more time...maybe.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Maybe some wall coverings would help to reduce the noise volume. It was very loud with everyone in the restaurant talking. Otherwise, great experience. I will be back!

It's a bier hall so it's going to be noisy and not ideal for intimate conversation but I will definitely be going again.

To start, the food was very good as well as the service. The two issues were the beer and the Schnapps. I will start with the Bitburger on-tap beer. We ordered two glasses and then were informed the keg was out and it would take 2-3 hours to chill another keg. Sorry guys, that's unacceptable. Have a second keg chilled and ready to go or a jockey box chiller. Also, German Schnapps go in the freezer and are served chilled. Ice-chilling dilutes the Schnapps. Please take this review as constructive and in the spirit of making everyone's experience most excellent when they dine with you.

Hi James, thanks so much for the support. We would love to have back up kegs ready to go and schnapps in the freezer but unfortunately, our space is so tiny that it makes it impossible without major renovations that we are not ready for. Hope you understand.
