If you are unable to find a reservation to your liking, please call the restaurant at (585) 651-0100

All parties of six or more must be booked in person or via telephone with a manager. To reserve a table for six or more people on a weekday (Wednesday-Thursday), a $30 per person deposit is required at the time of the reservation. Parties of six or more on weekends (Friday and Saturday) require a $60 per person deposit at the time of the reservation. All deposits will be applied to your final bill.

5 PM reservations to beat the rush. Small place, maybe 6 tables in the eating area unless there was another area we did not see. The bar was hopping! Small as well, a couple of standing tables, rest was 2-3 deep at the bar. It was Negroni night, free samples and $10 cocktails. Tried a couple of the flavors, but Campari is not for me. As for dinner, the excellent server (Chris) provided multiple choices of water. Hubby liked the house wine which was Alex Valley Vine according to the bill (also named Monroes Restaurant at the top of the bill). Three warm rolls arrived. We both had the Lobster Bisque which came with sherry on top. Best we have had in a long, long time! Hubby had the Filet (perfect) with Truffle butter and Truffle fries (never enough truffles I guess!). I had the Seafood Tagliatelle, asking for the chef to make it spicy. Great flavor and large scallops, shrimp and lobster. We enjoyed everything very much except maybe the fries as they were more like huge potato wedges, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Hubby used some truffle butter on what he ate as he said the inside did not have much taste. Pricey, so review online information before going. Chairs were firm but very comfortable.

Our dining experience at Rare 3001 was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was elegant yet inviting, setting the tone for a memorable evening. Our server, Chris’s, attentiveness and thoughtful menu recommendations truly elevated the night, guiding us toward some of great dishes. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with care. The only minor critiques were the portion sizes, which were a bit large for a fine dining setting, and the cocktail being slightly stronger than expected—though still delicious! Despite these small points, the overall experience was fantastic, with every detail contributing to a delightful meal. We look forward to returning!

The food was outstanding. We got 4 different appetizers and all of them hit the spot. My son got the tomahawk and cooked perfectly. The only compliant is that the waiter who we have had more than once is unemotional, appears put off by us and not attentive. Last time we were there he did the same thing. The food keeps us coming back

Waiter Brandon had fantastic suggestions from drinks, apps, to dessert. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a bit pricey but the quality and perfection of the food/cook is outstanding.

We had a great dinner at Rare3001 and hope to return again. Here are the specific reasons I did not give this restaurant five stars: 1) Upon arrival, our waiter asked us if we wanted sparkling or spring water. He did not provide another opinion, so we said spring water. We were later charged $10 for the bottle of water he brought to our table. We saw him using a pitcher of tap water at another table, so we felt that we were tricked into that purchase. We heard him do the same to another table and they also said “spring water”. This is an unfair way to phrase the question and inflate the total bill. 2) We requested that our steaks be cooked to medium rare, and both received steaks that were overcooked (more of a medium temperature). We did not request that they be remade because they were still edible, but it was disappointing. 3) $5 for a tiny dipping dish of sauce seems very expensive. We chose to do the three sauces for $12 combo and share, but even that seems too expensive for the portion of sauce you get for that price.

We had a great meal. Korean wings, filet, truffle fries and brussel sprouts. I will definitely go back again.

Second time we’ve been there, and it was not as good as the first. Food was still excellent, but for a $140 Wagyu strip, expected to be knocked off my feet, as opposed to just thinking it was just really good.

This restaurant was ok. The worst thing about it was the reservation experience. We thought we were making a reservation at Monroe’s, but inadvertently made it at Rare 3001. The company website was poor . . . too confusing between the various restaurants. It wasn’t clear that a Monroe’s reservation could only be made via telephone, while the other restaurants’ reservations could be made on line. Only being able to make a phone reservation is inconvenient and too old school for 2024.
