    Very nice Restuarant Nestled in the heart of Brixton. Food was excellent along with drinks. Service was top notch too.

    King prawn starter was absolutely delicious, we also ordered the scallops which were gorgeous. My jerk chicken with rice and peas served with coleslaw was again on point. At this point I was too full to order a dessert The rum punch and sorrel cocktails were delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be returning very soon.

    I have been before and received excellent service, however this time the food came out slower. They were polite and explained the reason for the slow turnaround and offered some snacks as an alternative. The food for me is the thing that draws me back! Some of the best Caribbean food in South London (in my opinion) The venue is small so make sure to book ahead, but come with an empty belly! The sticky toffee pudding dessert is amazing.

    What a wonderful find RapChar is!! It’s an hidden gem in the middle of London. And one that everyone who enjoys good Caribbean food (outside of the home) should be aware of. It’s very small, but it’s the perfect size. It will be busy if there are 25 people there! But be patient and wait your turn, because from the first sip of rum punch, to the deliciously creative Ackee & Plantain Croquettes, it’s worth the wait. When you get your main course of either the ‘melt in your mouth’ Boneless Curried Goat (my kids ordered that) or my dish of Caribbean Risotto with Grilled King Prawns with a delicate touch of Caviar added. Oh boy, are you in for a wonderful experience!! Please, please check them out and give this energetic, professional and progressive small business a try. And once you have then go and tell ALL your family and friends about them!!

    The food and presentation was amazing. The staff were lovely and the chef really knows how to make food taste so good. Definitely going back!!!

    This is my second time visiting RapChar and just as the first, my experience was amazing. Every element on my plate was so delicious. The cocktails were beautiful and service was so warm and friendly. I ordered the croquets which were so flavoursome and the polenta and fish again, a party in my mouth. The rest of my party ordered the seabass and prawns and jerk chicken. It was a wonderful experience and I can say I’ll be there again!
