We are excited to welcome you to Rania, DC's hottest destination for modern Indian food. Tom Sietsema has called our food "some of the most inspired Indian cooking in DC." At Rania, we offer homage to the time-honored traditions, rich flavors, and spices of India in an intimate, luxurious setting. We look forward to sharing our vision with you!

Presenting sophisticated, highly acclaimed 4-course prix-fixe menu, with an upcoming debut of our chef's tasting menu.

Policies:
-Dress Code: Smart Business Casual. No shorts, athletic wear, or baseball caps are allowed.
-Children under 10 are not allowed in the main dining areas.
-Reservations are available for parties of up to 6 people.
- A non-refundable deposit of $30 per person is required for parties larger than 5.
-A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties 5 or more.

Although the meals are a little pricey, the ambiance and the staff are super. They have plenty of staff that move through the restaurant in a precise choreographic manner, with great attention paid to the customers. No one is standing around and everyone has their unique assignments. Edgar, our wait staff was exceptional, thoroughly explaining the different dish options and very knowledgable about the wine pairings. The food is excellent along with the wine pairings. There is a choice between a four and seven-course meal. While they say each course is small, it is still quite a lot of food. We barely got through the four-course meal. The wine pairings were also very good and well-matched with each course. They told us that they pour 2 ounces of wine per course, but it is a very generous 2 ounces. And definitely do not miss the desserts. They are light and exceptionally delicious. Excellent place for an intimate date or special occasion with your spouse. Highly recommend it.

Amazing experience! Food was delicious the service was great. A bang for your buck. I was extremely satisfied I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Rania provided a romantic environment for a special Valentines Day celebration. The cocktails, wine list, and prefix menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) were top-notch. Add excellent service to the list, including sommelier guidance and menu recommendations, and you get an evening to remember.

One of the top 5 meals of all time. I can't recommend it highly enough. Cocktails are beautiful and delicious. The food was both creative and familiar.

We decided to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant provided us with a card and a dessert to mark the occasion. The service was amazing, and the food was perfect. I highly recommend this place for a special celebration.
