The food was outstanding. Unfortunately my pet peeve is when servers do not write down the diner's orders. The server was not busy at all and took our order for two entrees without writing them down; he ordered the wrong entree for my husband. Not even close. My husband ordered Prime Rib but was served the Beef Wellington. It had to be sent back and the Prime Rib had to be ordered. My meal got cold waiting for my husband to be served his. We were seated in front of the open kitchen and heard the chefs complaining that the server ordered the wrong entree. The server did not even apologize and just kept trying to talk us into dessert. Very disappointed and concerned to return again assuming that servers feel that they have to prove something by acting as if their memory is adequate to remember what diners order.

This was our first visit to Gordan Ramsey’s Kitchen, but it won’t be our last. The food was excellent and the service was amazing!

A five-star experience on most levels except for the noise. It's was hard to carry on a conversation with my souse.

The food was great. The only complaint I would have is that the music was way too loud ; it was hard to have a conversation with those at our table

We had a party of 6 and 3 of the meals were pretty good. The other 3 not so much. We shared a few things just to make sure we all agreed that it was not good. The crab cakes, crunch egg plant and balsamic brussel sprouts were all not good and none of us liked them and didn't get eaten. The waiter didn't even question why all of these still had 3/4s left or we didn't want to go boxes for them. The experience was not good and I would not recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I came for our 10th anniversary. We ordered a crab cake appetizer, two beef wellingtons, and they treated us to a sticky toffee pudding since it was our anniversary (we would have ordered it anyway!). Every single bite of every single dish was exquisite. The entrees had ingredients that we usually dislike (arugula, toffee, etc), but it was all so expertly prepared that we enjoyed everything anyway. This is the best dinner we have had in Reno, both in food and service. This is going to be a regular date night destination for us. Pricey, but well worth it.
