We wanted to love this restaurant, but we were so extremely disappointed. We were there for a special occasion and ordered several recommended appetizers and entrees - but was underwhelmed with virtually everything (tartar, bone marrow, Parker rolls, beef Wellington, crispy salmon skin, Connecticut style lobster roll, oysters, truffle potato gratin - which was actually served cold in its center). The food was average at best… The only two things we actually enjoyed were the oysters and the bread pudding. Even the cocktails were basic, not bad but nothing memorable. The ambiance was lovely, decor tasteful. And our waiter was very good. But the food and drink left much to be desired.

I brought my husband here to celebrate his birthday and had a great experience! All of the staff we had contact with wished him a happy birthday from the hostess to our waitress. Our waitress was excellent and very sweet, I wish I remembered her name. We ordered the parker rolls to start which were the best rolls I’ve ever had! I have trouble eating so I ordered the side of truffle potatoes for my main dish which were amazing, my husband had the shrimp & lobster pasta and is still raving about it. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Very quick service even though it was very busy, we were served drinks and all courses in about an hour. Overall a great experience with phenomenal service and excellent food, we can’t wait to come back!

It wasn't the culinary experience we were expecting; not a great choice and most were basic. The prawn cocktail was a let down and the battered fish was very greasy, as an englishman very experienced in fish and chips the portion of chips to the quite large fish was unbalanced (about 8 chips). Tuna tartare, superb Beef Wellington was described as petite but actually it was a half, not fully covered in pastry but saying that the cook on the meat was exceptional. Puddings, sticky toffee and pear tarte tatin amazing (a must) Salted caramel espresso martini, coffee flavour overwhelmed the salted caramel. Value fair. Service, room for improvement definitely. Ambience, cosy, intimate. Hygiene, a few plant flies around our area.

As always a great experience! The service was fantastic from the host to our waiter Tyler and the manager Miguel! Wellingtons were perfect!

I have been to 4 Ramsey restaurants, there's a certain level of expectation, great food, great service. And good drinks, it was my brothers birthday, and our services was terrible. The server disappeared after we received our entrees. The food was average and the services needs to be better this is a pricy place. The sticky toffee pudding was arrived warm not hot very werid. My mom ordered a side Caesar to eat with her entree and received it after she finished her entree. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

We had the bone marrow, roasted chicken and filet mignon. The food was REALLY good, server was amazing and the ambiance of the place was nice. Prices are a little over the top, but I guess you pay for the experience rather than the food. Average price per plate was $50, and $75 per person.
