Ramen-san is a bold and energetic neighborhood joint that slings hot noodles, ice-cold beer and rare expressions of Japanese whisky all to the tune of the best ’90s hip-hop in town. It respects the traditions but keep things uniquely untraditional in its yuzu sake bombs, crispy dumplings, spicy kimchi fried ramen and more. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining seven days a week.

Ramen-San is our go-to place for ramen in Chicago. Not only is the ramen amazing, appetizers, drinks and service are as well. Also, the vibe of the restaurant is perfect for a fun night out with family or friends.

Great service and amazing ramen! The kimchi fried chicken ramen was so delicious. The energy and atmosphere was fun for a Friday night. Can’t wait to return.

Easily one of our favorite spots for my bf and I. They always get it right. The playlist is always fire and the food and service is always incredible. See you guys next time, Ramen San crew 🫶🏽

Seating seemed scarce for how busy they were, but it happens in these small restaurants. The server was quick and pleasant. The menu is ideal, as it's not big and intimidating, but still has a lot of variety. The pork belly bao buns were delicious, the sake was great, and the spicy miso ramen, which was a special, was wonderful. It came out fast and everything was hot and tasted fresh. Great amount of spice. Will definitely be going back.

The menu is simple, and the food is very tasty! Service was friendly, and the vibe is bustling. Do make a reservation in advance for dinner!

Took a bunch of work friends after working a trade show. We were able to get drinks and food asap and re-energize for the rest of the week
