The service was excellent and there were many options for Ramen including vegetarian. Their buns were also delicious with several varieties. We had 2 of the varieties and our group loved them.

As always, incredible service. I think Madison was our server. Food is always amazing. And we love the 90s hip hop music when we come to ramen San in LP.

Ramen-San and their collabs are always amazing. The only thing this time was the menu release. It might be a timing thing, but the last collab I did was toward the end of the marketing, it was marketed as a tasting menu &all the items were listed. For this experience I got an email &booked early, there was no mention of a tasting menu but the marketing highlighted the fact that the chef was an owner of a steakhouse. After booking, I stopped getting marketing for the experience, so I’m not sure if they did at some point, update the marketing &included the menu items. But when I got there I found out it was indeed a tasting menu, which was great, but almost everything was seafood. The guest I took, only eats cooked shrimp, but Ramen-San and the chef were able to make an adjustment to the main dish for them and swap the majority of the Moqueca for an exclusively shrimp ramen, I appreciate that flexibility &they enjoyed that dish. I also do not eat seafood BUT I told myself, that if a legitimate chef were to prepare it, and I didn’t like it, then I could with certainty say I didn’t like it, but I genuinely never really gave it a try, so I decided to not alter anything &try every dish the way the chef intended. Everything was solid! As someone who doesn’t eat fish, oysters/clams, it was pretty good. The Blue fin tuna was my favorite of the seafood dishes, which since my guest wouldn’t try it, I literally ate the entire dish alone, and it was nice. The Moqueca was my biggest test, it was a literal aquarium. It was very fresh, everything had pleasant textures &I tried every ingredient in the dish for the first time. The dessert was also delicious. The only actual improvement could have been the tasting menu design, these menus usually are put together like a story that builds a taste in your mouth. The only transition that made sense for me was seafood>seafood in sweet broth (coconut)> dessert. But the flavors were all solid, service was great, and I’ll definitely be back!

Did the special tasting menu, was a bad deal for what we received and the main courses were focused around seafood, which was not something we expected or preferred

The food was delicious as usual; service was spotty. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our dinner. I love your music but it could be lower in volume so diners may enjoy their tablemates’ conversations without screaming at each other.
