The noise was very overwhelming to me. Although I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant I could have done without all the added sound effects.

I first wanna say that I rarely, if ever have given a one star review. Every place has a bad night but this was beyond a terrible experience in every aspect. First of all, it must've been our servers first day serving, like ever. Not only didn't he know the menu or drinks or anything basic a server should know, but he just struggled with everything. It set the tone for our experience. Let me add that I'm a server. A little menu understanding is a minimum of the job. Rainforest is in Atlantic City, a tourist location and we were tourists. We really expected more. Not only did our food take almost an hour and they were out of most of the beer options , one of our meals was missing when it was delivered. Luckily it was just a salad and didn't take too long, but it was just in addition to the rest. The food was absolutely terrible. I'd compare it to a 99 or something similar. We couldn't make any modifications to the order, like AT ALL. Bizarre. But honestly, WITH our entire stay in AC, most of the restaurants had long long waits and absolutely terrible service. This was just exceptionally bad.

Great meal on the boardwalk in AC. Service was great and food delicious. Will definitely return the next time in AC.

Made reservations for 6pm for 3 people. Arrived a little early 5:20pm and checked in. Was told to come back at 6pm. Went back at 5:52pm to check back in was told I need to come back at 6pm. While waiting yet again the 8 minutes until exact reservation time, a group of 8 people, 4 people, and 5 people were sat that did NOT have reservations. Checked back in at 6pm was told I now had to wait to be seated. There wasn’t any available tables. Why make reservations if walk in are priority. Very unorganized. If it wasn’t for my daughter we would not return.

This was our first time at a Rainforest Cafe, if this is the norm for all Rainforest Cafes we will never go to another one! I don’t know if the server was overloaded as she stated or was just not that good. We had to sit for 15 minutes before the server came for our order. We ordered an appetizer and an entree to split along with 2 drinks and a soda. Both of the drinks were bad - the rum punch was watered down and the beer was completely flat. The soda was a little flat and watered down. The main course came out before the appetizer. The server offered to replace the beer, but came back 5 minutes later having forgotten what was chosen as a replacement. She offered a house margarita in place of the beer. The server asked how the appetizer was, we told her that we never got it. She scurried off to the kitchen when she returned she said it was made but had sat so long she made the kitchen remake it. 5 minutes later someone else brought the appetizer out. Only after we were done with the main and halfway through the appetizer did the margarita arrive and it was weak and somewhat watered down. When the bill arrived, she dropped the bill off and was gone in seconds. She never offered to refund any part of the order for the very poor experience. The manager did take the appetizer off after the fact. As for the quality of the products: nothing was up to the quality that we expected for the price of the bill. For 1 soda, 1 mixed drink, 1 beer, 1 appetizer, and 1 main costing over $75, I expected better quality of food.
