Step into 1st floor RAILS Restaurant for a buzzy and relaxed dining experience. Expect a great modern British-French grill with succulent meat, fish and vegetable dishes served with sauces and sides, and the best moments from a Parisian brasserie menu, not to mention interiors.

Frenchie cocktails and digestifs top off the occasion from the adjoining Little Bar, wrapped in William Morris wallpaper dressed in eclectic art.

In addition, GNH Bar and Terrace, a bustling and welcoming space, blending British heritage with world influences welcomes you downstairs on the street level. The GNH Bar is open every day from 9am to 11pm.

Enjoy a 2 or 3 course express lunch or pre-theatre dinner starting from £22. Add a glass of our house red or white wine for £6.5 to your steak frites or indulge in our signature cheese trolley for dessert. Food prepared simply and brilliantly at King's Cross station. Available Monday, 12pm - 3pm, and Tuesday to Saturday , 12pm - 6pm.

Arrived with booking but directed to downstairs bar. Once upstairs, friendly, professional staff, lovely food, quiet time of day. Great loos . Will become a regular visitor for sure.

Great location between King's Cross and St Pancras stations. Friendly, attentive service, good food, decent cocktails and wine selection. Would definitely return.

Rails is in a great location and does it's food really well. The staff also are a cut above your standard waiting staff and are attentive and friendly

Ambience was beautiful. The food finger sandwiches were average but scones and desserts were delicious

Great location for catch up. Set menu limited option was good although dessert options a bit disappointing. However, dining room lovely, service good

Really nice wine selections by the glass, and well presented. The food was good - solid good, not amazing (while the fish overcooked, our steaks were done correctly; vegetarian option was lovely and healthy. Creme brulée dessert fantastic - perfectly made and very generous size, but on the other hand the chocolate mouse bitter and too sweet both, somehow). Lovely ambiance and overall great servers (some still learning the ropes, that's ok - it is summer and difficult to find staff these days). Beautifully appointed room and so fun to be right at the hustle bustle of KCross station but blissfully away from it all. A/C a tad cold but again nice to have it. I will remember this place especially because I would like to come back to the blissfully serene bar - in the evenings KCross venues get so loud and overcrowded and this is an oasis.
