12.12.12 We began a journey together with the community of Hudson, Massachusetts. An idea to open a small flatbread shop evolved into something we could only dream about. Our story is about a community's hope to do something special and to bring attention back to the things that matter most- like sitting around a fire, with warm friends, cold beers and great flatbread! Although delicious wood fired flatbread pizza is the champion on our menu it's just the beginning -we are a family friendly restaurant offering unique spins on new American comfort food classics like burgers, chicken tenders, tacos and mac and cheese to name a few.

Quality of the food was great. The cocktails we got were even better! If you are looking for a quality meal and great drinks, then this is the place to go! Especially if you like flatbread pizza. We got the Mexican Street Corn pizza and the Primo Pepperoni, both I highly recommend. My only complaint was the service, our waitress took 15 min before she finally came to the table the first time. She made multiple food order and multiple drink order errors. She had a great attitude but poor execution, I thought it might have been her first week but she made a comment about some change happening a month ago. The key is that rest of the staff that stepped in to help when food and drinks were forgotten, they did a great job and was super helpful. So if you have a bad waiter just ask someone for help and things will move along nicely!

Asked to turn on patio heater but the server couldn't get it to work so someone else came out and got it to turn on. While he was doing that, we looked at the menu and noticed our favorite salad was off the menu. The person ended up being the manager and said they could still make that if we want it. Sweet potato hummus appetizer was amazing as was our new favorite harvest squash salad. Waitress was awesome and told us to download the app to get $5 off. Food and service was top notch.

We typically love the Rail Trail, but this Sunday brunch was a bust. Two flatbread breakfast pizzas one of which still had uncooked egg whites and the other was pretty flavorless. The Shakshuka (first time trying it there) was mostly a vessel of tomato and pepper sauce with not much else. However, the TOTS were a fan favorite as always, and our server Grace was lovely.

We annually choose RTFB when my out of town godson visits - he has severe soy allergies and gluten sensitivity. It is AMAZING that the staff and kitchen are well versed on how to navigate the menu to find something delicious and "tummy" friendly! And by building their own gluten free flatbread, enjoying chicken wings with side sauces and a beautiful salad, he and his wife enjoyed their food (and leftovers!) with utmost apreciation. I am a huge fan of their seasonal greek bowl, and took one straggling bowl home. My lunch was the Thai bowl with fluffy rice, not greasy fried chicken and edamame. And of course my son went for his tater tots and an unusual feta flatbread that was really tasty. Service as always is simply HUDSON felt, HUDSON hospitality. The "boys" weren't in the house, but their presence is always felt!

Terrific, REAL food. Too much food, lol. Wealways have a fantastic wait person. Love that. Very knowledgeable about every question we have. And if they don’t know, they will find out! Love going into this local spot with my family. Put one more dessert on the menu ;)
