Convenient and tasty, good service. We sat by the windows facing the beach. I didn’t realize how annoying and loud the AC was until it cycled off, then back on again. You can’t hear the ambiance music when it’s running. In all no major issues and it was enjoyable.

Our experiece was heavily marred by the service we received. The food was OK, the atmosphere was OK, the view of the beach was OK. What bothered us was a trio of local "movers and shakers" (at least that's probably how they see themselves) who sat at the corner table beside us. From that point on, our waiter, Jon, who was covering both our table and theirs, seemed to care more about taking care of them instead of us. It is not hyperbole to say that for every ten times he went to their table to deliver items or check on them, we only got one visit. He forgot our wine selection we had made while ordering our food, then after our food was delivered, asked if we had decided on our wine selection yet. We told him never mind. I think he was still so focused on pleasing the movers and shakers in the corner that he didn't even comprehend that we were getting annoyed by his lack of care. We boxed up our remaining food, and asked for the check. Since we were guests of the Pink Shell, and had a service charge already added to our bill, we didn't give an additional tip. Our inattentive waiter certainly didn't earn one. Hopefully the movers and shakers he so dutifully waited on gave him a large tip, because he certainly earned one from them. Oh, about the movers and shakers. We had to listen to them regale their dinner companion about their power status and the names they dropped, but we imagine they would be eaten alive if they went to Naples or Miami or Tampa by real movers and shakers.

Everything was very good from the service to the food. Wish the room was a little cooler as it was warm and the ac kicked on sporadically.

My family and I love Fort Myers Beach. It’s clear that the local community is staying strong and continuing to rebuild their incredible beach. There are tons of local restaurants in the area but our little girl was craving pasta our last night in town. We were not staying at the Pink Shell but decided to give Rae’s a try. I’m a huge seafood fan but my wife is not. At home we eat Italian 2-3 nights a week. For what it’s worth this was the best meal we had all weekend! We stared with the arancini (it was incredible!), our little girl had a perfect kids bowl of pasta, my wife had the Chicken Parm (she loved it!), and I had the seafood linguini (Every portion of the dish was cooked perfectly!), and because we like to go all in, we finished with the Key Lime Cannolis (unique and delicious!). Most importantly though the service was phenomenal! Our server Joey was on top it! We had a late reservation and I always feel bad about being seated in the last hour of service (we didn’t know until we arrived), but we were treated no different because of it. Our family felt very welcomed and the overall experience was A+. Looking forward to visiting the next time we are in town!

Good food but small quantities. The caesar salad was tiny I thought they were kidding when it arrived at my table. Staff was excellent and view of the Gulf and beach very enjoyable.
