                                                              The Ribs were excellent and good size proportions. The decor is “Tired” and has that sixties look about it.

                                                              Our 5oth anniversary was great and the staff didn't mind us being slow to order. We also spent a lot of time at the table which we appreciated as we were going through memories and trinkets that we brought. Even the 12 and 10 year olds enjoyed their first restaurant steak dinner. It was great to see the restaurant so full of younger folks too!

                                                              I cannot say enough about the vibe, the food and the exceptional service from our waitress yesterday! She was overseeing many tables but clearly did her best to come around and ensure we had what we needed. I wish I remembered her name as I would love to recognize her. Truly a 5 star restaurant in Winnipeg that’s a must if you haven’t been!

                                                              Overall was fairly good. I was disappointed in there mashed potatoes, mushrooms ( were cold. The steak, soup and salad was awsome.I ordered a glass of wine when I got my meal and it never came till I was pretty much done eating We waited 30 minutes for our bill.

                                                              Definitely a step back in time - take it for what it is. The service is really great and friendly. the lunch special is reasonable - pot roast with mashed potatoes and carrots was nice with lots of very tender beef but a bit too much thick gravy. The salmon bowl had more rice vs fish - very tasty but less value there. AC is on high, so wear something warm. Booth is clean, carpets definitely dated. Dark ambiance. Once is enough for me.

                                                              Bread was sliced, from a bag not fresh . Salad dressing seemed like it was from a bottle you would buy at the grocery store . We had the prime rib which fairly tough and a bit stringy compared to other restaurants we have tried . Server was very good .
