the site of the first ever BBC broadcast in November 1922 from what was
then Marconi House – named after the Father of radio. The name RADIO

    Amazing ambiance and views of the City. Music was pumping, perhaps a touch too loud? I’m 56, so judge as you will. Drinks were amazing, service was top notch h. Would definitely again.

    Quite a let down. Style over substance. Pompous dismissive service. No extra touches. Music poorly mixed. Pitch black on the terrace with no ambient lighting. Wouldn't revisit.

    People come here for the views of London but the bonus is that the staff are exceptional….friendly, polite and efficient . Food is of Japanese fusion slant but is excellent and good value given London prices. Well worth a visit. I am a repeat visitor and wouldn’t miss it.

    Fabulous views over Waterloo Bridge and Somerset House. Great cocktails and tasty nibbles. Only quibble was the loud dance music (nobody was dancing) playing out - maybe I'm just old though.

    Booked a table for a 40th birthday celebration around 6-8 weeks in advance, requesting an outside table. Arrived to be told that there wasn’t a table outside available at our booked time and that ‘it does say in the emails that we may not be able to do this’. Went back through my emails and nowhere does it state this. As I was talking to the staff, another group celebrating a 50th had the exact same issue. Friend also had a bottle top in her aperol spritz. Manager gave her the money back for this but they had the nerve to try and charge us a service charge of £12 after an incredibly poor experience. Felt very let down and disappointed for my friend on her special birthday.
