Arrived from Rome in 2014, the Mancini family decided to change their lives and embark on a new and exciting adventure in Australia. After several experiences as Chefs in Italy and also in Australia, Valentina and Otello decide in 2019 to return on the market with a singular hospitality concept that had already been successful in Rome since 2010 . Radici Pasta House, in Italian language “Radici” means roots indicating the intention to offer a cuisine deeply rooted in Italian food culture with a modern accent and an extreme attention to the overall experience. Head Chef Marco Minore, who also joined Radici Pasta House in 2019, with his menu has contributed to giving life to this project which, in addition to the particular chef table seats around the bar, represents something unique in Gold Coast and beyond.

This was our 4th time at Radici Pasta House, and we have enjoyed our experience everytime. This time we choose to sit outside and unfortunately we had a few showers, we well protected by the umbrellas and even though the restaurant was full the staff asked a couple of times if we would like to move inside.

Incredible food. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Don't tell too many people though or else I won't be able to get a table!!

After just travelling around Italy I can say this was the nicest gluten free Italian I have had. Highly recommend!

We read great reviews on this place however we didn't not enjoy our dining experience. Twenty minutes before we were offered drinks and to order. Our entree garlic bread and bruscetta was delicious took 45 minds to arrive. Our mains 2 x lasagne and 1 x pepper and cheese pasta and 1 x carbonara took 1 hr 50 min to arrive...actually the lasagne arrived 10 min after pasta. At 1 hr 20 min we were told no rigatoni left and we would have to have spaghetti...thatwas fine we were hungry but it would be another 30 mins before the pasta came out. They kept apologising, but no food came. 2 other tables of diners came after us and ate and paid before our meals came. A table of 5 came in over an hour after us and their meals arrived before our guests lasagne. Our pasta was good buy the lasagne was burnt and overcooked..the staff recognised this and these meals were refunded. We were looking forward to the meringue dessert but after the long wait for dinner and the bad experience we were keen to leave. The floor of the restaurant is so sticky your shoes stick to it..the tables were sticky...and then when we paid I found out that my vodka lime and soda was $19.00...wow..I checked the menu and the vodka was actually noted on there along with Jack Daniels and coke $15.00.....very disappointing we won't return.

Radici at Coolangatta. Very good all round. I found the booking process frustrating when I tried to change the booking. The new booking was confirmed and then I got reminder for the original setting. So I changed that and got confirmation. When I got to the restaurant they had the original booking not the amended one but accommodated us anyway

This was the very best Italian food I have had in such a long time. The service was fantastic, the servings of each meal was plenty and well presented. The tiramisu was amazing , the taste of the creamy mascarpone was delicious. To finish off the evening I can thoroughly recommend the amazing affogato with franjelica and crushed pistachios Will definitely be back.

Food at Radici is amazing - so fresh & delicious. The fragrance inside the restaurant is mouth-wateringly scrumptious.

While we cannot fault every other aspect of our dining experience, we certainly were quite shocked by the VERY HIGH PRICES OF YOUR MENUE AND DRINK ITEMS. Such prices for pasta we feel was rather disappointing.

It was by pure accident that the waiter whilst serving 2 bottles of beer that the contents went all over my wife after falling off tray and a paper bag that contained her birthday present. We were just moved to another table. I ordered Moreton Bay bugs and pasta. I think the bug shells had almost been cleaned out before serving to me. This meal had a charge of $44 I got maybe 3 forkfuls of bugs and pasta was overcooked and tasted like tin spaghetti. When I squared up the bill there was no apology at all for the drinks spilled experience or any talk about maybe some compensation. There will be no recommendations from me or the other 2 diners for the restaurant. In fact i will go out of my way to send diners to other restaurants. The bill total was $275. A lot of money to pay for a bad experience.
