First opened to the public in 1984 as the Raceview Tavern, The Raceview Hotel has been a favourite in town ever since. Staff weren’t that accommodating. Arrived at the 1 o’clock sitting for the Melbourne cup buffet. Hostess not very friendly. Not much food to choose from when we got there. Most of it dried up. But on the whole it was ok. Need to up your customer service.

Food was good. Wasn’t really the Melbourne Cup lunch we were expecting from the advertising. We didn’t receive Champagne on arrival, I later found these sitting on the bar to take yourself, would have been nice to be told this. We were never offered any Raffles tickets or sweeps. There was no real atmosphere to make it feel like an event at all, just the regular lunch buffet but everyone dressed up nicer.

The variety wasn't much, some food could have been cooked better. I'm a big fan of garlic bread, but it felt like it had been reheated and was hard as a rock. Spring rolls were amazing but apart from that there wasn't much else to compliment. The service is definitely 5 out of 5, but I must admit I was kind of disappointed. The desert was ok and the drinks. But if the menu was a bit like Richlands it could definitely pop off as the central buffet spot in Ipswich. It's an amazing venue with a lot of carparks.

Love coming here for dinner and lunch. The food is always great and the service is good too. Just the right amount of items on the menu so you don’t get overwhelmed. Always clean and tidy and with staff constantly clearing dirty glasses and plates away. You won’t be disappointed, I haven’t been. 🙂

Always enjoy our meals at Raceview, we normally go for lunch but last night had dinner. The food was good but not a lot of difference with the food at lunchtime but more expensive.

Food was dry and over cooked Roast meat was like trying to eat a rock The oil needs changing for the fry food as spring rolls calamari was holding all the old oil

Enjoyable buffet with options to cater for all. Staff very friendly and inviting. Enjoyed the experience. Not out Value for money.

Very low value for money...seafood products not marked with allergen alert for Dill which caused a mild allergic reaction. Creamed rice...put some sweetness in it...and general flavours not there in the desert bar. Staff were good but just too expensive

Went there for a birthday because the birthday girl likes ribs. While getting our first plate we asked one of the chefs where the ribs were. He replied that their delivery didn't show up today. Big disappointment. Dessert selection isn't as good as other buffets.
