First opened to the public in 1984 as the Raceview Tavern, The Raceview Hotel has been a favourite in town ever since. We offer an extensive dining and bar experience, choose from our 220 seat buffet, Bullock & Plough Bar or our Lounge & Cascades Alfresco. With 18 beverages on tap as well as an impressive selection of wines, spirits and cocktails you’re sure to find something you love. Our gaming room houses 40 machines for you to choose from while making the most of our quality friendly service.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday Saturday lunch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they changed our table to another one that had easy access for a wheelchair. The food was very tasty. There was a good variety of salads hot vegetables, hot and cold meat and several cuisines. The dessert bar was fantastic. The price was very good.

Wide range of food to suit all palates. Kids catered for. Staff friendly. Tables cleared quickly. Generally a good lunch enjoyed by all.

Table service was non existent. , the empty table around us were not cleaned the whole time we were there from previous customers. Food was well cooked but pretty plain Since our table was not set up for us we had to look for knives and forks. The supply was almost empty and what was there was still wet from being washed. Same thing for deserts , had to walk to other end of room to find spoons. Noticed there was still limited supply of knives and forks For what it was the price is outrageous Wouldn’t go back

Great atmosphere. Very clean and beautiful facility. We had a table of 20 with very satisfied bellies. All staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. So lovely to be greeted with a smile and excellent customer service (10 out of 10). Buffet was fantastic. Great combination of dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for an enjoyable experience 😊

Made a booking for 12 people at 7:30. On arrival was told all food will stop a 8pm. So would have to eat like animals. If you were closing at 8 it would be nice to know and we would have come earlier. 7:30 is hardly late night dinning- very dissappinted

Christmas Day at the Raceview Tavern was fantastic. Well organised, beautiful food and all the trimmings. My family loved it, especially the seafood. Great value for money.
