Chef Brian Clevenger's second restaurant, located in the Junction in West Seattle, on California Ave just north of Genesee. The focus again is on fresh product, served simply. The menu is Italian inspired, and focuses on locally and sustainably-harvested produce and seafood

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Reservations for Raccolto have been put on hold through the week of August 14th. Due to a critical plumbing incident Raccolto will be closed for reservations until 8/14 to address remodeling and repair issues stemming from the incident. Food was delicious, service was ok. Our server couldn’t answer our questions and the service was slow, it took 1 1/2 hours and we had to pack up our dessert and abruptly leave to be somewhere.

We dine here two or three times a year and always enjoy the food. Our last dinner here was during Seattle Restaurant Week. Everything on the menu looked good and we had a hard time deciding what to order. The food was excellent, as usual, and a very good value.

Food was delicious however we were a little disappointed to find a different menu offering than what was shown on their website. During our meal, there was a long 45 minute wait between us finishing up our salad course before the main course was served. Our wait person told us "food was coming" on her way to serving other tables, but no other explanation.

Had an amazing dinner for 5, everything was delicious from the Oyster starters, Pasta, Cod and ending with cheesecake, but not your usual cheesecake, Yummy! We’ll be back

We’ve been to Raccolto many times over the years and have loved it previously, but this most recent trip was quite disappointing. Food is still yummy, but extremely overpriced. ($25 for a small bowl of pasta with butter and cheese??) The wine list has dwindled considerably. Food pacing is not good and it takes far too long between courses. I do not recommend this place for children or families; it is definitely designed around 2 tops. The waitstaff are not trained on accommodating children. If you’re craving Italian, I recommend going to Il Nido or La Rustica down the street instead.

PROS: The food was really outstanding. They make their own pastas and breads and everything is simple and fresh. Dishes are intended to be shared. CONS: Our server was inattentive, so the meal took two hours. We were constantly trying to catch his eye to remind him of something he forgot. The restaurant also adds a 4% surcharge (not shared with staff) that is not well disclosed in advance. Very noisy.
