Welcome to Rabun Social, a dynamic kitchen, cocktail, and sushi bar in downtown Clayton, GA. Great food and strong sushi, especially for a small town in the mountains of GA. The outdoor seating in downtown is a real treat. I had a great gin flight, and others in my party raved about the rum cocktail and the espresso martini. The salmon appetizer and the egg drop soup were great. The rolls we had were good, but the spicy sauce was a bit too spicy (esp. on the Hot Mama roll) and overpowered the flavors in the roll. I recommend steering clear of it if possible, or asking for it on the side. Their eel sauce was great.

Food was wonderful, loved the bourbon chicken and rice, and the bread pudding was fantastic.

Two of us visited for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We made a reservation for noon and were seated upon arrival. Our reservation was originally for an indoor high top, but we requested to sit outside being the weather was lovely. The hostess was both accommodating and friendly. Fast forward to our server, she too was friendly and both were knowledgeable regarding the daily specials. My friend ordered a prosecco with a splash of cranberry juice and I ordered a club soda with an in-house created cherry simple syrup. I liked the stemless glassware used to serve my friend's bubbles. We started with the social lettuce wraps. These were very good! The lettuce was crisp, fresh, and sturdy. Nothing is worse than ordering lettuce wraps and the mixture is leaking through weak pieces of lettuce. The chicken mixture featured a nice subtle soy flavor. For our meals, we opted for the daily special which was a one party smash burger v. the 2 patty entrée on the menu. We paired our burgers with a side salad dressed in carrot ginger vinaigrette. Both the burger and salad portions were plentiful. The salad dressing was very tasty and I enjoyed how the burger was trimmed. Albeit, I didn't partake in the special sauce and instead opted for ketchup and mustard. I requested my burger be prepared medium rare, but it was cooked medium. I believe there was a mix-up and my friend received the medium rare patty. Fortunately, it was still very good. The only complaint is my bun was over toasted so the top was too hard. Bonus: I saved a few calories. ;) Prior to leaving, we ventured inside to use the restrooms. I really enjoyed the décor. Overall, Rabun Social has a great atmosphere, food and the customer service was on point. Additionally, I appreciated the owner's interaction with customers. If you find yourself in downtown Clayton, this place is worth checking out.

We had a great experience at Rabun Social. Different menu than anything in Clayton. We loved our server and the owner was everywhere. Awesome addition in Clayton.

If you can put up with the inside noise of the bar then this is a don’t miss it restaurant. The food is excellent and nicely presented. Our table ordered the Tartare, Poke bowl, Wyguu beef burger and the chicken sandwich. We would all order what we got again. The sushi looked amazing as it passed our table. The drinks are pricey but the food is all under $30. A good value and good sized portions for it.

Our fourth time eating here and each visit we love it more! So thankful to have this restaurant in Clayton!

This was the 3rd time we have been to this restaurant. First two times we had an excellent meal and service. Our last visit was less than standard. The kitchen was behind and we waited over 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. The main entree arrived much later for 1 person in our party and the 2nd entree did not come to the table for another 25 minutes. Two people should have their meals arrive at the same time. Our waitress was very kind and it was not her fault as she explained that the kitchen was backed up. Hopefully this gets worked out so others do not have the same experience.

Whitney was our server, She was great and very knowledgeable and professional. Great customer service! Food was Great and tasty. Loved the bread pudding.
