From the beginning I was greeted warmly at the door by Taylor, she’s charming and professional as well as friendly. Charlton is an excellent bartender and server, I try to always sit there. Misty also comes by every time I’m there to be sure I’m happy! The Martini and the wine were great, the seafood dish I had was excellent! I’ll be going back again soon. I highly recommend this place! 🥂😎

Husband old fashion were very good. Crawfish beignets were really good but the corn side was too much onion for us. Pan seared scallops (4) were seasoned well Red fish was seasoned but over cooked/dry. Thanks to the young lady (Taylor) at door she keep my tea glass full which was a blessing Peanut Butter Mocha Mousse had a great texture & flavor. This was our first visit Thanks ☺️

Excellent meal, superb service and spot on cocktails! Charlton was our waiter and he was very helpful. I had the steak & frites, perfectly prepared and my husband had the fish special, red fish. He definitely enjoyed it. We were too full for dessert !!

Disappointing is the best word to use. I enjoyed R Bistro in their previous location and was excited to dine with them again. Upon walking in, we felt assaulted by noise. The decibel level was measuring at 88-90 throughout the meal, so our waiter couldn’t hear us and we couldn’t hear him. Most of the food was quite over salted, as was one of the tropical drinks. We tried the artichoke heart appetizer which ended up being $2 each per tiny piece, with aioli tasting strongly of garlic salt, not garlic. Their crawfish Mac and cheese was actually orzo, which was ok, but definitely not mac and cheese as stated on the menu. The Gouda grits were actually a very crunchy grit cake high on the salt rating. Menu did not state it was a fried cake. Other items reeked strongly of salt, including delicate scallops overcooked, of which there were only 3 scallops for the entree, one being sizably smaller than the other two. The bread service was tasty, once the excessive salt was scraped off. Crème brûlée topping was overdone. The star of the evening was a beef pot pie with an incredible fluffy biscuit type topping. Would order that to go in the future. Our waiter while friendly, was distracted and forgetful, which I attribute to us having a later reservation and being his last table. In all fairness, the chef/owner did come by and ask us how our food was. I hesitated and ended up saying it was ok. At that point, there’s not a “fix” for all the overly salty food and I had a headache from all the noise. And the noise…hard surfaces everywhere in a narrow small space with a trumpet for live music. The trumpet is easily overwhelming in small spaces, which we know as a brass playing family. It was impossible to relax on a Friday with the decibel level equivalent of a lawnmower, power tools or subway train in a small area. The two bread products were quite good, but I’m not sure that’s enough.

Delicious as always. Personal attention from staff and the owner always appreciated, more so on a very busy Friday night. Very enjoyable.

Great place. First time, but will be back. Plenty of room, great food, live music on weekends, and terrific service.
