Sur la High Street, il vous suffira de repérer un hall tout en verre pour comprendre que vous êtes arrivé au Quod restaurant, le véritable sanctuaire du Hold Bank Hotel, avec son bar et sa terrasse spectaculaire. Cet ancien hall de banque à été transformé par le propriétaire Jeremy Mogford, qui en a fait le plus grand et le plus réputé des restaurants d’Oxford. Son décor est élégant et contemporain. L’espace est harmonieusement optimisé et abrite une incroyable collection d’art contemporain, dont les oeuvres de Sandra Blow, de Craigie Aitchinson et de Gary Hume, qui ornent magnifiquement les murs. La terrasse chauffée est exceptionnelle. Vous pourrez y déguster un délicieux dîner à un très bon rapport qualité/prix, mais aussi profiter tranquillement d’un café, ou savourer un des divers cocktails de l’établissement.

    Quod and the Old Bank Hotel have a large secure private car park and is accessed via an automated barrier. Priority is given to hotel guests though spaces are readily available throughout the weekdays.

    Take part in the most traditional English pastime of afternoon tea in the heart of Oxford. With its large windows looking onto the famous colleges, Quod is the perfect stopping point during a walk of the city. Enjoy classic egg & cress or ham and mustard sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam and a cup of tea or perhaps a glass of champagne. In the summer months tea can be taken on our recently refurbished Italian garden terrace.

    Our favourite family restaurant. It has a unique ambience and the staff are professional and friendly. The food is first class and my wife's birthday meal was acknowledged. Will always recommend this to anyone and everyone. A great dinning experience

    The atmosphere was great and the place lively. The food was generally good but my dessert was disappointing: the 'poached plums' definitely were not poached, they were cold, hard and dry. This was raised with our server and the cost was removed from the bill.

    I downrated the value as a single gin and tonic cost £14.10, which is ridiculous. I just asked for a G+T and wasn't given a choice of gins. I wouldn't have chosen Cotswold as that unjustifiable cost, and it spoiled my overall experience of the lunch

    Such a beautiful venue and amazing staff. Alessia was absolutely fabulous and Suzan was also brilliant at the bar. They created a lovely atmosphere - I came here for a treat day and they made it very special unfortunately i had forgotten that Oxford is full of men who will drone on and on about their political careers and I was trapped next to a man who genuinely would not shut up (if you are reading this you know it was you - I love David Cameron blah blah, Theresa May didn’t have the charisma blah blah, populist politics, let me drone on to 2 19 year old students who are just enjoying the free food) . In short he almost ruined my experience but Alessia and Suzan pulled it back. They are fantastic (as are all the staff) - still my fave treat venue in Oxford. THANK YOU!

    Sunday Lunch prepared to a high standard. Plenty of choice if a Sunday Roast is not for you. Friendly service which is not rushed.
