Si Quixote ressemble à un lieu de culte, ce n'est pas un hasard. Ce restaurant caverneux a été construit à partir d'une église mexicaine déconstruite, comme l'indiquent les bougies de Santa Maria et la chaire transformée en bar.     Customer service was absolutely unacceptable. While waiting for our reservation at Quixote we decided to have a drink at the patio bar. With 3 people behind the bar and nobody waiting for drinks it took almost 15min for someone to take our order. Once the female barteneder took our order she proceeded her conversation with a pserson who was not ordering or drinking. More customers came after and received there drinks first. After 15 more min and 5 min before our reservation she asked if we were finally going to order or continue to make her wait. After letting her know that we were already waiting for our drinks she said she didn't remember what we wanted and asked us to order again. By that time it was too late to for her to make drinks so we left for our reservation. Once we arrived at Quixote the host could not find our reservation but brought us to and empty table anyway. Once we sat they decided to move us to the back room away from all the other customers, even with 3 visible empty tables in the main room. The food was sub-par for a business with such a high reputation. Our margaritas were served only half way from a full glass and tatse watered down. There was more salt than cocktail. We could have made 1 drink from both glasses. For $16 I expect a full serving. Once finished we encountered only more of the same rude customer service from the bartender inside the bowling alley. Continuing to serve other customers who came after us even though she acknowledged us first. After the third party got served before us we decided to leave once again. I have been managing restaurants and hotels for over 25 years and have never dealt with such a level of casual disregard for paying customers. The lack of ownership and pride in the employees at the Lafayette should be dealt with before it becomes a bigger issue. This is clearly a lack of leadership and direction from management. I expect the level of experience that I paid for, not this fast food type of carelessness

    Not an extensive menu, pretty noisy, and very dark. The food (what I could see) and service were good. Thank goodness they tell you what they’re bringing as it’s set down, or we would be guessing!

    We found the service, decor, and food to our satisfaction; however, the restaurant was extremely dark. We were unable to read the menu, or see our meal when delivered to the table, and while eating.

    Excellent experience. Came here for a birthday lunch and the food and drinks were divine. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is unbelievable. Highly recommended!

    Love going here to just grab appetizers and a good drink . The food is phenomenal . We always recommend this place for outings
