D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Si Quixote ressemble à un lieu de culte, ce n'est pas un hasard. Ce restaurant caverneux a été construit à partir d'une église mexicaine déconstruite, comme l'indiquent les bougies de Santa Maria et la chaire transformée en bar. Le chef José Cepeda propose des variantes des plats préférés de sa famille, en mettant l'accent sur les céréales anciennes, la masa et sa spécialité, les moles.

    You go to this place for the ambience only and for the looks. But the food is meh and not worth the price. For sure one and done for me.

    Expensive decent Mexican food … I can tell you where to get better tacos , tamales and mariscos at 1/4 of the price. But the decor and service was good.

    Valentines Day preset dinner was $200 per person and I walked out still hungry.

    Food was amazing! Our service was a little slow but it was clearly just because they were understaffed for Valentine’s Day. I’m guessing they were not expecting to be so busy for lunch. Our server was great, she was just very busy.

    This is one of those places you go for the ambiance. The service was awesome. The food was good don’t get me wrong! But for the price it’s steep. With that said the fondue was amazing and the different flavors of ice cream were delicious.

    Great atmosphere and the food was amazing! Huge plus that you can go enjoy the other bars/restaurants and fun stuff at the attached hotel. There’s an awesome bar in the same building with bowling and free games and a jazz club in another area. Definitely on the pricier side but for a date or special occasion it’s totally worth it!

    Nice ambiance, but I don’t think I would go back- I’d prefer to go to another one at Lafayette. Food was good and menu made it sound exotic but flavors are not new, at the end of they day its just good Mexican food- also charging extra for salsa and tortillas seemed a bit much. I felt that I got the same flavors I would at a cheap regular (real) Mexican place but 20x more expensive. The drinks sounded interesting but again, nothing new when it came down to flavor or presentation. The decor is nice and different but I somehow expected more. For an upscale Mexican experience I’d rather go to Javier’s . That being said, we enjoyed ourselves and visiting the grounds of the hotel is fun.

    The ambience and decor is amazing and really unique. Service is top notch, and the drinks we had were definitely worth. We ordered the guac to start and although it was delicious I feel like for the price the quality of the avocado should be a little better. Also, I feel like it would be better served with chips instead of tostadas. The next dish was the pulpo. It was out of this world! Would’ve been nicely paired with some tortillas. The main dish was the aged rib eye. Amazing. The only complaint again is the tortillas. I feel that for the level of excellence CH has, the tortillas should be hand made and higher quality. They’re not bad by any means, but they are the same quality I would get from my local Mercado like north gate.

    We came for dinner and drinks, i highly recommend the octopus and the braised lamb. I loved that the entrees were made to share for 2 people so it was perfect for our table. The branzino and kale was chefs kiss.
