Ce restaurant caverneux a été construit à partir d'une église mexicaine déconstruite, comme l'indiquent les bougies de Santa Maria et la chaire transformée en bar. LOVE the space! Both the hostess and our server were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we loved the different spin and flavor. I can’t say enough about the space and how cool it is! Will be back for sure! Definitely a place to try for the food and the experience. Our margs were great too!

This place isn't where you simply grab a drink or a meal, the ambience is so unique I'd call it a venue you go to for an experience. The whole place not just the restaurant is a wild Alice in wonderland meets the Matrix type of thing. I loved it

Felt like walking into a converted church. Loved the design details and the open kitchen. Server was excellent. Food delicious.

I booked this restaurant for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. He was still trying to find parking, I was able to wait at the bar until he arrived. The bartenders were very attentive, they served me water & gave me a menu to look at until my boyfriend arrived. We were sat down & when we decided what we wanted, my boyfriend left to go to the bathroom. Our server comes while he was gone & I asked if they did anything special for birthdays. He told me that I would have to purchase the dessert & they would put a candle on it. Not to sound entitled but I wish I was told that it wouldn’t be complimentary to save everyone’s time. I told him that I would let him know if we decide to get a dessert, he says “okay” & walks away. I feel like my not ordering a dessert set the tone for the service that we were going to receive for the rest of the night. We didn’t want drinks that night so we only ordered the squash blossom, duck carnitas, crispy chicken tacos & the bay scallop ceviche. Server didn’t write down the order, had to come back because he forgot what the order was. The best dish was the squash blossom. The duck carnitas were dry, the menu description did not lie & the crispy chicken tacos were actually just dressed up chicken tenders, & the bay scallop ceviche barely had any seafood & was extremely hard to eat with the saltine crackers. We didn’t finish the ceviche. Server comes back & asks if we wanted to get anything else. I ask for the check & he asks if we wanted more crackers for the ceviche - we say yes thinking we should try to eat more. He comes back with the plate of crackers with a lit candle for my boyfriend to blow out. Super embarrassing & felt very passive aggressive for not ordering the dessert. Immediately left after paying. Additionally, server came back to our table maybe 2 times after food was delivered but was very attentive to the table (who sounded like they were ordering a lot) next to us. Be prepared to spend a lot of money for good service.

Horrible combative service. Food over priced and not good. Suffice to say we walked out and ate dined elsewhere.

The food was delicious. They were able to make us vegan dishes, that were so flavorful. The ambience was amazing!

The food and service were quite good. Way to loud and way to dark. Every diner had their cell phone out to read the menu and see their food. The too small tables did not make the experience relaxing.

Very neat place, go just to experience the decor at least once, though the food is also worth it. Very personable and friendly server, gave us the heads-up that the bathroom inside is a single, but if you go up stairs and into the lobby of the hotel there are 12 stalls and it's not far to walk.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff regarding the menu and mezcal. Danny our server was fantastic. Food was delicious. Tapas style. Get 2 items per person no matter what. Old fashioned was great but definitely venture into the mezcal. Cons: there was some initial delay with having our server come over for waters but it didn’t seem like his fault. Parking was bad, would have loved something clearer or a suggested parking because the valet at hotel layfayette wouldn’t let us valet or suggest anything close.
