Chefs Rafael Lopez & Ben Hughes opened a small intimate Bistro with flavour lead and produce driven food. Local farms are visited daily to gather ingredients to create dishes with. Fine dining in a relaxed dining room. Located on Westgate High street amongst other independent shops and a short walk from the sea front. The Restaurant features in both the Michelin Guide & the Good Food Guide, and is listed in the top 100 restaurants in the UK.

                                    Another outstanding meal at our favourite local restaurant. We took a friend who was visiting from overseas this time and he was bowled over by the impeccable service and fabulous food. The waiting staff are so lovely - very professional, warm and friendly.

                                    We found the food, wine and service to be outstanding, and we greatly enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside on a sunny day. I would strongly recommend eating here.

                                    The food and service was very good, which has always been the case on previous visits. We visited this time on a Saturday night and the restaurant was full and understandably the noise level was a little high for one of our guests who is slightly deaf. Unfortunately not much can be done about this i guess. Will go again soon. Thank you guys!

                                    Warm personal service, excellent knowledge of menu, good advice on wine pairing, very nice touch with a birthday card on arrival for my father in law who loved his birthday meal. A true neighbourhood gem.

                                    First time at Quince, a special anniversary meal. Menu varies and we lucked in with the cod and pork chop. Excellent service Excellent meals the food was sublime 5* + Was quite in the restaurant ( some reviews saying it was loud?) We will be back ! Regards David and Lorraine.

                                    We had a fantastic meal at Quince for my mum's birthday. The food was delicious and the team were really lovely, they even wrote my mum a birthday card! I'd highly recommend Quince.

                                    Warmly welcomed, had birthday cars left at table for my birthday. Dined on Sat 6th July 2024. Staff friendly and attentive in a good way Food superb, can't fault it. We had devilled egg and house bread with butter and a very nice tomato & hazelnut spread which was added for the evening, very tasty. Scallop starter for all of us, delicious, lovely cauliflower sauce/spread underneath. Dodington lamb was divine, and rest of party had duck and peach all very much enjoyed. Also had a little amouse bouche at the beginng a waffle cone with a nice filling topped with grated parmesan. Thouroughly enjoyed, perfect sized meal, nicely paced, will return for another meal when I'm back in Kent, highly recommend.

                                    Excellent service, attention and cuisine. Nice quiet open kitchen. The only thing that could be better for me would be more warm table lighting and surfaces that would absorb sound so not so echoy whereas my companion liked it like it is because it was minimal, modern and tasteful decor with lovely wood floor and real flowers on each table were appreciated.
