Sunday lunch with 2 other couples. The set menu was incredible value - venison croquettes starters; chicken or pork belly mains were both very good and no-one was going home hungry! From the a la carte - monkfish terrine and the venison filet were both perfect. We treid the sticky toffee pudding and shipwreck tart - impossible to recommend one above the other as both were delicious.
Service with a smile, attentive, but not intrusive. Everything was relaxed, no fuss or drama, with the usual open kitchen for those interested in observing the chef at work. The owner and head chef, Rafa, wasn't there when we visited, but from service to the kitchen, everyone was on top of their game.
Can't recommend Quince enough - plus the re are lots of interesting shops to visit if you're there during the day.
