Chefs Rafael Lopez & Ben Hughes opened a small intimate Bistro with flavour lead and produce driven food. Local farms are visited daily to gather ingredients to create dishes with. Fine dining in a relaxed dining room. Located on Westgate High street amongst other independent shops and a short walk from the sea front. The Restaurant features in both the Michelin Guide & the Good Food Guide, and is listed in the top 100 restaurants in the UK.

We booked Quince for our wedding anniversary. From the start to the end, the service was of very high standard. The waiters were very nice and attentive. The food was truly amazing, we had the three course set Sunday Lunch which I would recommend. The best Sunday Lunch we have had. We will return, thank you for a wonderful time and for our anniversary card.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We chose the set menu but added bread and an extra desert just because. The food was delicious and excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive, the resuaurant was clean and stylish too. I woukd highly recommend.

We dined as a table of six on a Saturday evening. From the moment we walked in we knew this would be a great night. The atmosphere was good but the space roomy. The service was friendly and came easy to the waiting team. The food was sublime. Just an overall fantastic experience and will be back very soon.

A good choice of innovative dishes on a short menu, all cooked and served by the owners with enthusiasm. A very attractive and welcoming environment. Respecting its name, quince has made it onto the menu at this time of year in the form of pavlova!

20 October 2024 Dined as a group of four. This place is a hidden gem. We dined with family who live locally and didn’t know about this restaurant but they will definitely be back - and so will we if we are in the area. The food was excellent - the menu is simple but with a good range of choices and great value for the quality. Highlights were the braised venison starter and the Eccles cake with blue cheese as dessert but every dish was delicious and well presented. Service was exceptional and we were made to feel so welcome and given plenty of help and guidance on the menu. Wine recommendations were absolutely spot on. This is a relatively small restaurant with a great atmosphere and there appeared to be lots of returning customers - having eaten here we now understand why.

Fantastic food and welcoming staff. They had even popped a card on the table for my partner's 70th birthday. Will certainly be going back if we are in the area again.

My first visit to Quince but will definitely not be my last. The service was exceptional and the food divine. Any questions we asked about the menu were answered in depth and the recommended wine suited our venison dish. Again cannot fault anything with this restaurant

Cracking meal again here. Lovely place that’s just fantastic. Great food, service and value. They go the extra mile and paid so much attention to us, we came with out 4 month old and the service was just great. Thank you for a great evening on my birthday! We’ll be back for sure!
