Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back. The "crave-worthy" and "global collective" menus & the team’s attentive and personal service are mixed with carefully-curated happy tunes which altogether create a positive-energy experience rarely found in a restaurant. I rarely write where you use that I wanted to because this is such a special place and I want to help keep it in business! I went there first for my anniversary and we had so much fun and it’s just such a pretty environment with the lake and I love the vibe that is casual yet so nice. So today when a friend and I wanted to meet for lunch, I suggested it and I’m so glad I did. we sat right by lake and had a delicious lunch. I didn’t want to leave so we ordered dessert! The service was amazing and the food was amazing and you really need to go!

We made a reservation here for my husband’s birthday, mentioning as much when I scheduled. First, they tried to sit us at a non-table by the patio door which patrons and servers consistently entered/exited through, and the door was propped right next to my husband’s head — we politely asked for an actual table with a view, as requested in our reservation. I thought because I had, in advance, asked for something special they would accommodate this, so when the hostess couldn’t be bothered to leave aforementioned doorway, vaguely pointed in the direction of our new table, we were thrilled — right on the water with a perfect view— but then the same hostess that couldn’t be bothered to show us to our new seats came to tell us this was not, in fact, our two person table and we were to sit at a four-top sandwiched between a table of screaming babies and very loud women. I am not exaggerating and slightly embarrassed to admit, I cried. It was supposed to be a special night, one I had planned in advance. Sucking it up and continuing with the night, we ordered cocktails and starters from the sushi/raw food menu. As a former long-time server and bartender, I do not take this lightly when I say, the food was horrible— the rice at least a day old and stale, so, we politely asked for our check and told our kind server the food was inedible. I will never go back, I will not ever recommend this spot, and frankly they should be ashamed that I went to them for such a special occasion and they fumbled the whole thing.

While the food was great and the view was wonderful, I cannot recommend dining at Quince Lakehouse. I came with my husband and parents, we were seated inside at a table with a great view, which was a lovely surprise. At this point, I’d like to give a shout out to Miguel for finding an higher chair that my mom was comfortable using—thank you! A not so lovely surprise, however, was the large, loud, and disruptive party later seated at the table next to us. My mother has mobility issues and needs space to use her walker, but there was no space for her to be comfortable once this table was occupied. There was plenty of room for them to have been seated where everyone would have more space. Additionally, this party brought two dogs that barked throughout the dinner. Not once, not even twice, but repeatedly for over an hour. The dogs also jumped up and hit the table several times. It didn’t seem like the pups were enjoying the experience that they had been dragged along for. This was disruptive and not at all peaceful or enjoyable, especially at the price tag expected. Lastly, the humans in the party did nothing to mitigate the dogs’ behavior, and were themselves extraordinarily loud and rude. The noise they made and the things they said were akin to being in a bar. If we had wanted that environment, we would’ve sought it out. Quince Lakehouse prides itself on being a place where folks “come for a meal but they stay and ultimately return for the experience.” We will not return, nor will I be recommending this restaurant to anyone who actually wants to have a pleasant dining experience. Upon speaking with the hostess, I was told only that they are dog friendly. No mediation, no reparation. She didn’t care. That sealed the deal on a truly awful experience that we will not be repeating.

This is about the 10th time we’ve been here for Sunday brunch. It’s a ritual! We love the setting on the covered patio over the water at Lake Austin and always enjoy the service and the food. I especially love the steak & eggs which has to be the. Way in town. Definitely recommend!

Everything was great. Really enjoyed the back covered patio to enjoy our meal with friends with a great breeze cooling is down from a day at ACL. Highly recommend

The service was not good. It took the service forever to get our drinks. We had to ask them repeatedly for refills. we had to ask for the check and also for them to take the dirty plates when we order dessert. The staff was very nice and friendly, but the service was not good because either they’re overstaffed or just not trained properly I felt it was a little overpriced, but I’m not familiar with the prices because I am not from this area. Most of the food was delicious but several dishes were average overall we had a good experience, but would probably not go back

Our experience at Quince Lakehouse was perfect. From our food to our perfect spot we were sat at to overlook the lake for the sunset. Everything was more than we expected and the service was above par. Everyone was really friendly and I almost forgot, but the drinks were very well made. We definitely recommend the Surf and Turf sushi, the Salmon dish, and the Spicy popcorn shrimp. Whether you are going for a date, with family, or business, we highly recommend Quince!

Great food and ambience. DJ playing. Delicious drinks. Service was slow at the beginning but then it was fine. Definitely will be back again.

The food and drinks as always are spectacular. We only noticed some strange attitudes with our waitress at the beginning of the night, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. However, another waiter helped us and solved it, thank you so much!
