Quince is an upscale casual, indoor/outdoor restaurant where all demographics and generations come together and enjoy a dining experience beyond normal expectations. People may initially visit for the terraces with exceptional views, but the food and the overall “Quince Experience” is what keeps them coming back. The "crave-worthy" and "global collective" menus & the team’s attentive and personal service are mixed with carefully-curated happy tunes which altogether create a positive-energy experience rarely found in a restaurant. This is how Quince in San Miguel de Allende (SMA), MX became rated top of its class and is the “# 1 rooftop restaurant in the world.” and the "#1 rooftop destination in the world" by Robb Magazine.

For a New Year's Eve dinner, the food and atmosphere were very bad, very expensive for what they served.

BAIT & SWITCH! BEWARE & AVOID! Especially for important occasions. We booked a reservation for Waterside dining, but when we arrived, we were told there were no waterside tables were available. The waterside dining area was only about 1/4 full. Then we found out they were suddenly not serving their full menu, instead they were serving a very limited menu with less than 5 entree options. None of this was stated when booking our reservation on an important night. The GM, Chris, was very rude and did not offer any concessions, in fact he was combative. He has only been the GM for about 3 months which explains the lack or professionalism and reliability as we have been here before with great experiences. We will not be returning. My recommendation: enjoy the water views from Mozart’s next door, then enjoy better service, food, atmosphere, and prices at Salt Traders about 10 minutes away.

The tuna tacos were amazing! Ordered 2 orders of them! The environment was good vibes with a DJ and being by the lakeside!

Server was proactive, attentive without being overly so, and the view was very enjoyable. Got slightly loud when the doors to the exterior came down, but nothing unusual for a Saturday night. Busy without being too crowded. Staff was pleasant from start to finish.

Beautiful, lakeside dining with wonderful views, ambience, craft cocktails and delicious seafood-focused fare. Cashmere shawls provided in colder weather! Patient waitstaff who allowed us to take all the time we needed to catch-up after 10 years. 😉Holiday lights 🎄🌟☃️boat parade a plus!

Food was really not great - even my 7 year old couldn’t eat his kids cheeseburger (like how do you mess that up??) but the view is lovely.
