At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line.  Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Le Quetzal s'est vu décerner une étoile MICHELIN pour ses délicieuses grillades au feu de bois et ses plats mexicains moins connus, qui vont au-delà des tacos et des tostadas.     I had amazing experience, the food was great , margarita was on point , the servers were very detailed and professional. I even had the opportunity to take pictures with the manager and chef . It’s worth every hype and penny . Definitely one of the best restaurants in Toronto .

    Overall a nice dinner out. We had the curated menu. Most of the dishes were wonderful - except the pork dish which was a bit of a disappointment (chewy/fatty). The cocktails were amazing. The noise level was high - we resorted to hand signals to communicate at one point.

    Food and service was incredible. My party couldn’t decide what our favourite dish was because everything we tried was outstanding. I will be back.

    it was my second visit and a first for my hubby and guests. Our server was off the charts amazing! The entire staff were attentive and friendly ! Again off the charts. The food and presentation did not disappoint ! A must on your foodie list !

    Aside from the noise level it was a perfect meal. Our server, Isabelle, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and really nice. The food was flawless. Every bite was special and memorable. Balances and depths of flavors were so impressive. These chefs, bartenders, servers, food runners, and hosts are crasftspeople, and I’m thankful I had the chance to dine here.

    The food was delicious! Expect very good size portions for sharing. The service was excellent the staff was all extremely knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. Loved the experience!

    One of the best restaurants in Toronto, hands down! The food is exceptional, and Edar’s cocktail list is as good as it gets!! Can’t recommend Quetzal enough.
