At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line. Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Le Quetzal s'est vu décerner une étoile MICHELIN pour ses délicieuses grillades au feu de bois et ses plats mexicains moins connus, qui vont au-delà des tacos et des tostadas. Une carte de cocktails créatifs à base de tequila et de mezcal, ainsi qu'un plafond incurvé et accrocheur évoquant un marché mexicain, complètent l'ambiance ultra-cool du restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Toronto, hands down! The food is exceptional, and Edar’s cocktail list is as good as it gets!! Can’t recommend Quetzal enough.

Having been to several Michelin restaurants this was our favourite. Friendly and attentive service. From the moment you enter you enjoy the smokiest of the oven that will take your taste buds on a wonderful journey. We choose the curated menu with the wine pairings. The first course ceviche was delicious and paired perfectly. The sweat breads with corn, were the best preparation of this delicacy I’ve ever had. The scallop were my favourite of the night. Highly recommend.

It was my son's 21st birthday and he wanted to experience dinner at Quetzal because we always rave about how good your restaurant is and the fact that it has a Michelin star. Another exceptional family celebration thanks to your delicious food, drinks, and amazing service.

Amazing meal, we went for the curated menu and got 9 courses. Food was amazing, drinks were great and service was really good. For the quality thought it was very good value.

Everything and more…. Wonderful ambiance and exceptional food…. Such a gem! Our bartender waiter was very accommodating and assisted us with understanding the menu options…. Support staff was exceptional and drinks were mixed to perfection…. Every dish was prepared to the highest level!, the foie gras was especially good…. Still dreaming about it!…looking forward to returning the next time we are in Toronto!

Very good service and food! Every dish is delicious, and after serving a dish, the waiter will clean up the dishes and wipe the table, which is the best service I have ever experienced in Toronto. I will come again in the future!
