At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line.  Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

Le Quetzal s'est vu décerner une étoile MICHELIN pour ses délicieuses grillades au feu de bois et ses plats mexicains moins connus, qui vont au-delà des tacos et des tostadas. Une carte de cocktails créatifs à base de tequila et de mezcal, ainsi qu'un plafond incurvé et accrocheur évoquant un marché mexicain, complètent l'ambiance ultra-cool du restaurant.

    The food and service are consistently above average and amazing. We have dined here multiple times and are always pleased. Very much enjoyed the existing and new dishes added to the menu. Thank you

    Great service from the start to the end. The highlights for us was the Memela, Newfoundland Scallops and the Veal Sweetbreads (off the secret menu).

    Good restaurant, food was good but over priced. Worth checking out one time and wouldn’t recommend going there if you’re actually hungry. Good drinks, the ambience is nice (perfect for a date or hang with friends) and the service was excellent.

    Really great date spot. Delicious food and great service. The Shrimp and Bone Marrow tacos were amazing. Husband got lambchops which he also loved. Their take on an old fashioned was very cool
